Something else on the Tsuburaya blog. I guess we know how Ginga uses his finisher beam now. Google Translate mentions Shunji Igarashi, but the guy on the left there doesn't quite look like him. There isn't any major new info, at least going by Google.

It is him.

Huh. I'm having a hard time seeing Mebius there. But I guess it's not as bad as Hassei Takano in Retsuden, if only because that was supposed to be an in-character appearance, and this is just a photo.
Some of the magazine scans here include Ultraman Ginga stuff. One spread shows Black King fighting something that rresembles Neo Darambia from Dyna. Toho Kingdom are speculating that Black King will be used as a heroic monster like the capsule monsters or Gomora.

The plot:
Thousands of years ago, a mysterious someone had turned all Ultra biengs, aliens, and monsters into Spark Dolls using a device called Darkness Spark.
Today, high school student Hikaru came back to the village where he was born and he found out his grandpa's shrine was destroyed by a sudden fire. However, the Shintai was saved and moved to an abandoned school. Hikaru decided to squat in the school to continue take care of the Shintai for his grandpa. One day, Hikaru meets a talking doll named Ultraman Taro. It told Hiakaru that he is the "selected one."
There were countless Spark Dolls hidden in the village and they're now being awaken by the Galaxy Spark which was being worshiped as the Shintai cared by Hiraku.
Taro is the only Spark Doll that has self-conscious and can act on his own will. He serves as Hikaru's mentor and the narrator of the story.
(It's Taro's 40th anniversary btw.)
Alien Baruki acts as an agent of the mysterious someone. He hands the Darkness Dummy Spark and Spark Dolls to individuals who have a corrupted mind.
In conculusion, this is Tsuburaya's or Bandai's attempt to stir up Ultraman, Gokaiser, and Shounen Manga

I don't dig Ginga's design and the whole concept but I'm going to watch it just because I'm a big fanboy of Taro.
