Two more Anime Shows coming up in 2011!

As the Iron Man Anime series comes to its final episode, the Wolverine Anime series is ready to start in Japan. Not only have these two shows been revealed to us since the 2009 Comic- Con, but now, Animax is proud to reveal the next two anime shows coming in 2011. They are....

I'm definitely looking forward to see X-Men Anime show. :buttrock:

And Animax has mentioned X-men and Blade I'm glad to see there here.

Even a Warren Ellis written X-Men story would be better than what we have now... I just hope they have a none traditional line-up or maybe even a few new members.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the X-Men used in the 90s cartoon series to be the ones picked for this.

I'm inclined to think if they go with a comic book roster, they would use something close to the Astonishing X-Men roster: Cyclops, Wolverine, Emma Frost, Beast, Colossus & Kitty Pride.

Though from a purely aesthetic stance, I think Pixie would be a more interesting choice than Kitty as the token new kid.

The Astonishing X-Men line-up is horrible because for 6 years they have done nothing worth a damn. Also I don't want Cyclops or Frost since one is a racist villain asshole and the other is a prostitute, you choice on who is what. Also Pixie just needs to go away for a bit because Greg Land has destroyed her, she use to be cute and funny but since Land couldn't find any legal porn to trance that would match her he turned into her into the mess we have now.

If any existing character is going to be put into the plucky new girl slot it is going to be Armor. If only Ellis has used her before and because she is Japanese.

No argument here. I've never been a fan of Astonishing. And I certainly wouldn't be upset if Frost & Summers were shipped on a bus. I wasn't listing who I wanted them to use, just who I think they'll use.

As for Land butchering Pixie. I'm not surprised to hear that. Thankfully, I haven't witnessed any of it because I stopped reading any issue with his name on the cover, ages ago.

Doesn't mean a real artist and a team of animators couldn't take advantage of Pixie's design. It's still a design that would lend itself well to beautiful animation.

Good point about Armor though.
