It was a busy weekend these last few days for those following anime news. Anime Expo 2025 meant every major vendor and distributor had something to reveal. Crunchyroll, being the biggest fish in the pond, hosted a panel packed with announcements. The first thing we learned is that Black Clover is coming back. The magic-based shonen last aired an original episode in 2021. A new season is now in production, and the same animation team (Studio Pierrot) is returning to the job. In addition to the reveal of the first trailer and promotional art, a special message played from creator Yuki Tabata: “The production of the long-awaited new anime season of Black Clover has been confirmed! I’m beyond ecstatic going into the new anime season after the super-passionate movie that came out! Thanks to all of you, Black Clover is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year! I definitely plan to keep this hype going! I want fans from Japan and all around the world to enjoy the powered-up anime that’s going to be brought to you by the most awesome anime production staff! Thank you so much for supporting Black Clover!” Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- has formally confirmed […]

I’m really happy Black Clover is coming back. I started watching it during the pandemic and followed it every week until it stopped. I always liked Asta’s energy and how the series balances action with emotional moments. Knowing that the original animation team is still working on it gives me hope that the quality will stay the same or maybe even improve. And with Yuki Tabata saying he wants to keep the excitement going, I think we might get a season that feels like a real comeback, not just a continuation. The fact that it’s also the 10th anniversary makes the timing feel special.

Re:ZERO also getting a fourth season is good news. That show really surprised me with how serious it gets, especially in Season 2. Subaru is not a typical hero and I think that’s why it stands out from other isekai.

Mushoku Tensei is not for everyone, but from a production side, it’s very well made. Season 3 being done by Studio Bind again means it will probably look great. And I’m curious how the story will move forward.

The new Hiromu Arakawa anime is probably what I’m most curious about. I liked Fullmetal Alchemist a lot, so I want to see how this new one will compare. I hope it also has deep world-building.

So they’re finally bringing Black Clover back. About time. I liked the show, but they left it hanging for too long. I just hope they don’t waste time with filler again.

Re:ZERO Season 4 in 2026 feels far, but at least it’s official now. I almost forgot what happened last season. Gonna need a recap.

Mushoku Tensei is not really my thing. The animation is great, sure, but I couldn’t connect with the main character. Still, I’ll probably check the trailer.

That new one from the Fullmetal Alchemist creator? Yeah, I’m watching that day one. I trust that team.

This is the kind of news that makes me smile all day! Black Clover coming back with Studio Pierrot still on it? Yes, please! I love the magic fights and how each character keeps getting stronger. Asta’s growth is really inspiring to me, so I’m hyped to see what’s next.

Re:ZERO Season 4 sounds great. Subaru is such a complicated character. I like how the show mixes time travel and suffering in a way that still feels hopeful.

Mushoku Tensei? The art is always top tier. I’m not always okay with the tone of the story, but the world is rich and I respect the animation work a lot.

And wow, something new from Hiromu Arakawa? I didn’t read Daemons of the Shadow Realm, but if it’s anything like Fullmetal Alchemist, I’m in for a great time. The director choice sounds solid too. Crunchyroll really gave us a lot this year!

Black Clover is back? Cool.

I’m more excited about Re:ZERO and Mushoku Tensei though. I like stories that make you think, and those two do that better than most.

The new anime from the Fullmetal Alchemist creator sounds interesting. I’ll watch the first episode and decide.

Re:ZERO Season 4 in 2026? So I guess I have enough time to rewatch everything and still forget half of it.Mushoku Tensei is cool, but let’s be honest, I sometimes get confused about who is doing what and why. But hey, at least it looks amazing. The new anime from Arakawa? I’m ready. Give me siblings with trauma and complex villains again. Let’s go.Crunchyroll did good. I accept this news with snacks in hand.

Now I see that Crunchyroll posts information fast. Season 3 of Mushoku Tensei was promised after Season 2 ended in 2024, and they kept their promise. That is good for trust. I will watch the trailers carefully to see if the animation matches the mood of the story. It is important for me that music and sound design are strong. I remember the soundtrack of earlier seasons was very effective. I look forward to hearing the work of Yoshiaki Fujisawa again.

I think it is positive that Re:ZERO Season 4 comes in 2026. I appreciate the return of the director and voice actors. Their work made previous seasons strong. Season 4 will be on Crunchyroll only, and I already have a subscription. I like the story of Subaru learning from his mistakes. I will wait for the new episodes with hope.
