I'm a MASSIVE Vampire fan and the Twilight movie turned me off big time. Mind you I only watched it once my sister got the DVD and I bitched her out for buying such stupid crap.

People that are actually at the con, its not something you'd see comingsoon or whatever make a news article on, unless **** goes down that is. Large amounts of people have already tweet'd, updated their blogs, posted on a board, or whatever about the giant Twilight fest. But if you must have an official source I googled a few for you:

Access Hollywood was on earlier and their description of the scene kinda made SDCC sound like a really big Twilight convention.
