Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - Discussion Thread (June 26, 2009)

There's been tons of TF2 news while this thread was dead. I'm not going to mention it all, but I will highlight a couple things.

Legends class Optimus Prime and Jetfire
These two figures reveal a few things. Firstly, Jetfire is the blackbird. Secondly, he's a Decepticon. Thirdly, He combines with Optimus. Keep in mind that it's not transformed correctly. No one's sure exactly how it's supposed to go, but it does prove that Jetfire switches sides at some point in the movie. Kinda funny how much is learned from two legends class toys. Also, Prime looks awesome.

Next are Fast Action Battlers Megatron and Jolt. Jolt mainly just confirms who he is and which car. Megatron confirms the tank megatron art was legit. Bay is insisting that it's only a toy, and is not in the movie. Honestly, this could go either way. Just look at Wreckage. Also gotta give them credit for the FAB design improvements. Very nicely made.

Lastly is Leader class Optimus Prime, which is a new mold. Somehow Hasbro has outdone themselves again. It's amazing how close this one is. Also, TWO SWORDS! Hell yeah!

I didn't really like the movie designs, so I don't really own any toys from the line. I'm liking a lot of designs from this movie though, especially Sound Wave. Will definitly buy him when I see him on the shelf peg

Decepticon aircraft carrier? I don't think that exist...:sweat:

I would really love to see Prowl on the movie. My fave Autobot. But that ain't gonna happen...T_T

There is no aircraft carrier. It was from an early draft of the script. They eventually took it out because it didn't really fit with where they were going with it.
