Well, I'm speaking in general, not strictly about Japanese stuff. Most foreign language films from any language don't have much chance for success here because they have to be subbed, which alienates people who don't want to read stuff on a screen, or they have to be dubbed, which alienates people who think it's "weird" to hear somebody's voice coming out of another person's mouth, or have issues with the lips matching the words or whatever. But every time I turn on Telemundo, they're ALWAYS playing American movies, and they're ALWAYS dubbed in Spanish like it's no problem, which is kind of annoying at times because occasionally they'll play a really good movie I haven't seen in a while, and I only have an elementary at best knowledge of the Spanish language. :disappoin
