Ore Tanjou! doesn't beat GSL or Paradise Lost in my books. haha

I did like it though. GA-O is cool, until Den-O kicked is butt. lol

I was talking about the movie.

I'm not surprised Den-O is low, but it did have a good run. It's just Kabuto has nothing to do with it. I didn't even know you were talking about the movie since all I saw were reference to Den-O episodes in your post. LOL :shakefist I thought you were definitely clear when you stated first episode of Den-O low because of the prior series (Kabuto TV).

lol Yeah right! LOL Den-O aired for one whole year. Kabuto. had nothing to do with it.
I was referring to the first episode of Den-O, the lowest rated 1st episode of all the new gen Kamen Rider series, which aired a week or so after the finale of Kabuto.

As for Kabuto and Den-O given that both shows shed viewers as they went, it seems that Den-O just continued where Kabuto left off in losing viewers.

Kabuto actually did better as far as ratings,
Not by much given that just as Den-O was the lowest rated new gen KR series, Kabuto was the second lowest rated and was the lowest rated before Den-O took over so one has to wonder if Den-O's problems were not inherited from the prior kamen rider series.

because most of Den-O's high ratings were in the beginning
The same is even more true of Kamen Rider Kabuto whose highest rated episode was its first one.

I think viewership has just been down in general, anime, drama and tokusatsu have all had lower ratings in the past few years.

There has been a steady decrease in the ratings though, apart from a spike every now and then. I mean, consider the fact that Kamen Rider uses to be getting 20~30% of the audience share week in week out. Now they're lucky if they can break double digits again. I think this is partly reflective of the expanding TV world though; there's a lot more to choose from then there used to be, so ratings like what Kamen Rider gets now are considered just good enough to get by on for them.

That's true, but it's not all that different from U.S. television either. Cable startin to take a chunk, same with Japanese audiences :disappoin

I'm sure the ratings would increase a lot if it was aired at a better, more convenient time.

Ask anybody who's a fan of a particular show, they'll make the time.
