Toei's Zyuranger DVD release

Since Saban is going to release the series fully onto DVD , wouldn't be splendid if he also released the three series subbed that made up MMPR as well?

When was it confirmed that Saban is releasing the full MMPR series onto DVD? I hope I didn't waste my money on that horribly blurry German Set if we are getting a decent release.

*^&$ the subtitles, I want this series. :castlerock: Great news, as this is almost my first Sentai (as it was for many of us ).

Wish they'd release Sentai in BluRay as well... :disappoin

Same here man. I'm so desperate that I was extremely happy my All Rider vs. Daishocker Blu-Ray (very good video and audio quality, but I got the practically no extras version) had a HD trailer for the Shinkenger. I promised myself I wouldn't but any Sentai unless it was on Blu, but I may make an exception for this...if I have the money money. :shakefist

I would love to watch this whole series with accurate subtitles. Someday, I guess.

Ironically here in America, there's an option on some DVDs to watch with subs in a different language.

Except in America we know and acknowledge that we have people who speak different languages in the country.

But nearly everyone in Japan speaks Japanese. Plus why should they go the extra mile to subtitle something that would only appeal to a very small amount of English speakers?

Sorry guys, but English subs on any Japanese DVDs (unless they are bootlegged) is just wishful thinking.

And even a smaller amount who enjoy Toku. My parents don't like Power Rangers, so there was no way they would like Sentai. I just roll with no subtitles and try to watch for clues in the shows.

It's funny. European DVD's include english subs often (not always) because they know film collector/geek imports from english speaking countries make a decent amount of money. I wish the japanese companies would do so. At the same time, I imagine they don't think the profit would be there.

I heard the English subtitles on there were terrible. it was all inaccurate according to my friend who saw the DVD.

Hahaha. Uh oh, didn't I see on a thread here where someone who actually visits this forum was the one who did the TL ? ...highly anticipating this answer lol
