From November 20th, Disney+ will begin streaming a new 8-part documentary series called 'Marvel 616'. In addition to the main trailer, they have also released a clip of an interview with the CEO of Japan Action Enterprise, Osamu Kaneda, discussing his work back in the day as stunt co-ordinator on Toei's Spider-Man TV series.

While there are eight episodes, and the trailer says they are telling eight stories, it's not clear whether that means an entire episode will be dedicated to the Japanese TV series or just Spider-Man in general. Either way, if you watched the show back in the past when Marvel used to host it on their website, are following the currently ongoing fansub, or are just generally a fan of both toku and the webbed wonder, this may be worth your time.

I hope the Toei Spiderman will appear in the Into the Spiderverse sequel.
