Its not exactly remakes but adaptations , dubs of live action asian programs are really akward to watch.

I think it's just a matter of using professional voice actors. If you get the lifeless hacks these anime companies use, who sound like they're just learning to read, then you're stuck with a crummy production.

Damn right. I remember who crappy the english dubs for the Funamation version of DBZ, and the english dub to the first season of Bible Black(Hentai) were. Don't get me started on the annoyance of the english dubs for Sailor Moon and Speed Racer X. Good thing I am now into subbed versions and fandubs.

But, I did manage to see the english dubs to Bible Black: New Testament and Bible Black Only, and I gotta say, those were some excellent voice acting skills. All thanks to the new voice director. I only saw the english dubs to episode 1 and 2, so far the only voice actors that could have done some improvements on their voices were the english VAs of Chief Yuge and Aki Ichikawa. Aki-chan sounded too high pitch like 1st Soprano, she needed to sound more like a 1st Alto in her voice. Chief Yuge needed to make his voice sound more like he has a deep pitched voice. Not too deep, but more like Baritone-ish deep. Overall, not bad on the remaining cast. I guess the new director wanted to take english dubs to a hentai series such as Bible Black very seriously.

I think it's settled. it's over, Toei will still stick to Disney, otherwise, it's gone. and Digimon might get involved in the disconnection if it continues. (of course, Digimon is Toei too, of course, and Disney has it for US airing)

Personally, I would like to see the sentai's get DVD releases over here. I'm not loving Disney's job on it, and would enjoy seeing the older ones that were not going to see normally. but since they renewed, I'll say these two things: Don't make it animated! Power Rangers, is Sentai, and if Sentai was meant to be animated, it would be. Just cause you don't like the latest footage is no reason to screw everyone else. Two, keep any current disney stars away from it. The last thing we need next to animation is Power Rangers the Musical. If that happens, I will end up in jail for multiple homicides, unless my claim of temporary insanity works.

...after the Battlizer was used in Sentai...and Den-O teamed with Shin-Chan...and now a legit team up with Den-O and Kiva...nothing surprises me anymore.:sly:

All we need is a Kamen Rider/Super Sentai team up (no...not like the one with Kabuto and Bouken...but a legit one) and perhaps a legit anime of both respective franchise...and the resurrection of the Metal Hero franchise.:buttrock:
