TMNT 25th Anniversary Documentary

Much of the memorable voice actor cast for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series have been assembled or a special documentary on the TMNT franchise as it reaches it's 25th anniversary.

James Avery (Shredder, Phil Banks from Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) Pat Fraley (Krang), Brian Tochi (Leonardo - Films), Barry Gordon (Donatello), Rob Paulsen (Raphael) , Townsend Coleman (Mikey), and Renae Jacob (April O'Neil) will discuss their roles in the series, which lasted ten years, with many of the cast (sans Avery nd Paulsen) staying more or less for the entire series

The documentary will be released on DVD later in 2009.

I have to agree. My sister got me the color TPBs of the comics (during the Turtlemania of 1990), and I preferred it over the series!

The original series was better and more accessible What people don't realize is the comics was meant to be a parody of serious comic runs at the time anyway. The original series has Futurama-type self-detremental humour.

Frankly, I never got why anyone has to choose which version is better, they all ought to enjoy both. The original is always going to be regarded as the definitive one.

Yeah good point. The same goes for watchmen. I don't get why some people wont let well enough alone, and let people enjoy both. ;P

I never said I hated the cartoon series! Where did I even say that? I happen to like the cartoon series, I just like the original comics better. And that must be a crime, I guess.
