"Long, ago in an ancient time forgot, the world was nearly destroyed. Not by the hand of man but by the might of the great celestials that live above the sky. Yes, the celestials grew jealous of the ancient human tribes that lived on earth and so began a great battle between that of tribe and that of celestials. Unbeknownst to both sides, there were two manipulators of the battle. The leader of all tribes Mayzsawl and the king of celestials Lorawix conspired to have a never-ending battle that would allow them to remain in power for an eternity. The battle was brought to a climax when both leaders' groups created something that was not in their plans.
The human tribes used the powers of Earth and Darkness to create a warrior that held the power of the elements within him combined with the ancient mystic creatures. The Dragon of Water, The Pegasus of Sky, The Titan of Earth and the forbidden form of the Dark Ifrit of Fire. The warrior of the tribes would grow ever stronger and gain higher forms the more he fought. He could even change small objects into weapons of his choice. The celestial forces created a warrior of their own with the great cosmic forces of Flame and Storm and used their powers to create an eternal evolution factor so that the warrior would gain strength through its very existence.
The Tribe's warrior was named "Migwyal" which would later translate to "Mighty"
The Celestial's warrior was named "Ascareo" which would later translate to "Ascendant"
The two warriors fought and fought and fought until nearly the world was in awe of their power. By then, they had reached forms that used the Ultimate Fires of the Ifrit and the Shining Light that shined throughout the battlefield Mayzsawl and Lorawix were worried and believed that the fight would come to a end that would end the war. But it was not to be so, as both Migwyal and Ascareo destroyed themselves in an explosion that turned the world into the way it is today. The two sides saw the destruction and allowed for a truce that would separate the sides for an eternity, never fighting again.
However, Mayzsawl and Lorawix did not surrender their ambitions so easily...
Flash-foward to the year 2010 on the day of May 10. Humanity has become the dominant species of the world and the times of tribes and celestials are forgotten by all. But, Mayzsawl and Lorawix have not forgotten. As immortal beings, they begin another plot. The two take the ancient mysteries of the previous war and spread the seeds of power throughout the world, to find the two people that will be able to use the power of Migwyal and Ascareo in this modern society. With the warriors under their rule, they will be able to rule the world for eternity.
However, much like in the past three things happen that set the story today in motion.
1. The seeds that spread affected not just the warriors themselves, but nearly anyone that could be a potential candidate. This transformed many of the world into creatures that looked like monsters. Because of this threat, the police get involved. Something that wasn't supposed to happen. To combat these monsters, they take emergency measures to create a suit of armor that would later be worn by the rookie, justice-filled, officer-in-training, Michael Hills
2. The seeds that spread that did not change people into monsters changed them into something that was both monster and warrior. This is what became of the young swimmer Ryo Robertson who goes on a mission of vengeance to the people that did this to him. A quest that would put him at odds with two particular warriors
3. Two eternal friends Chris Hanry, a happy-go-lucky guy who hides his true feelings and Andrew Bissac, a cold but friendly guy are planted with the seeds of Migwyal and Ascareo at different times and are approached by Mayzsawl and Lorawix separately. They pretend to be their allies but are manipulating the truth from them secretly. By day, they are great friends but when monsters attack they become Kamen Rider Mighty and Ascendant and are bitter rivals. This is the story of men who battle for answers and solve the mystery of their powers.
