The Tokusatsu Commandments

Kimiden

Great Sage-Equal of Heaven
Okay I've been mentioning these alot as of late. It's a list of mock commandements for the tokusatsu genre that I came up with and I think you guys may get a kick out of.

Feel free to post these at other places, just be sure to give me credit ^^

I'll be adding more as time goes along. Feel free to think up your own and I'll read off the best ones on R5.

  • Thou shall worship Hiroshi Miyauchi and the ground he walks on for he is the Mack Daddy of the Universe.
  • Thou shall not f*cketh with the Double Riders.
  • Thou shall seriously not f*cketh with the Double Riders. I cannot stresseth this enough.
  • Thou shall have at least one swimsuit episode and or moment in the series. The Fan-er, Spirit of Isihomori demands it.
  • Honor thy mecha, they will be gone by season's end.
  • Riderman died for your sins.
  • Thou shall not repeat the mistakes of the 2005 season.
  • Love thy mother and father. Especially if thy parents are scientists exploring ruins and re-awaken an ancient evil and leave you and your siblings powers and a giant robot.
    1. ADDITIONAL: If thou loveth thine own father, thou shalt never hit any button or flip a swith with a giant C over it. (Ten points if you can nail that particular reference)
  • An annoying voice and hot blood doth not a good leader make.
  • When taking apart an enemy base. thou wilst only need to flail thine arms around until thou hits a random control panel to trigger the self destruct mechanism. It doesn't matter which one, it will always haveth the desired effect.
  • Thou shalt never fear death as no matter what, you will end up in Tahiti
  • Plot Armor doth not lasteth forever. Two episodes, maybe less.
  • Thou shall not mess with the Holy Heisei Rider Trifecta of Awesomness. (Kuuga, Agito and Ryuuki)
  • Thou shalt not trasheth the cool looking bike. It may save your arse in the final episode.
  • Thou shalt not talketh smack, messeth or even consider taking any actions that result in messing with Tak Sakaguchi for he rivals Hiroshi Miyauchi in sheer awesomness.

And here's some of my favorite additions to date

  • Thou shall cause explosions and pose the pose of a manly man in a colorful fashion after thou has smitten thine enemy
  • Death is absolute, unless thine allies are in a movie and or team-up and must call forth your help and are done with you within a timely one hour window.
  • God hath given you many mecha, so naturally very few of them shall be used in the most basic combinations; until the sacrifice episode.

And there we have it. Keep em comin' folks ^^

Ryuki was good?

Anyway, pretty funny, you should try making a top ten list if you get enough replies.

That's the plan ^_^

And yes I consider Ryuki good :P Each one served it's purpose. Kuuga brought the franchise back with a twist, Agito took what Kuuga had and ran with it while on fire and doing awesome things and Ryuki arguably had one of the best Heisei Rider movies, up there with Project G4.

Might as well take a shot at it...

Thou shalt never enter a mech excepting if thou is with four color coordinated allies.

Death is absolute, unless thine allies are in a movie and or team-up and must call forth your help and are done with you within a timely one hour window.

Your mech battles must always take place in a heavily populated city; for this is not done, construction work shall grind to a hault.

Episode Final was an okayish movie, Project G4 was one of the few things I didn't like about Agito. Kuuga had its off episodes, but it was pretty good overall, Agito the series though was just gold.

Now this one was just so damn awesome.

Thou Shalt not mock the silver giant, ever. For he is more powerful than you ever will be.
If thou be a Silver Giant, Thou shalt only defeat thine enemies when thine chestplate blinks red.
Thou shalt never, never, interrupt Tendou Souji when he speaks of his grandmother
Thou shalt make short work of mooks or ignore them entirely, so as to have more time to fight your rival.
Thou shalt not mention the names Tommy or Jason in the presence of Super Sentai.
