I think the series would have looked great had it come maybe ten years later or so, I think Metal Heroes really had it down by the time Jiban came around. (even Metalder seemed to suffer from the Gavan suit problem)

Am I the only one who thought Gavan was the weakest of the trilogy?.

I disliked his space ship, compared to the original two.

I'll grant that the robot mode could have been better made (especially its flimsy arms), but how do you prefer Grand Berth to Babylos? Grand Berth looks fine as a ship but that robot mode is ugly.

Actually, it's ugly in comparison to other, more "proportioned" robos but it does practically scream "80s", which in that respect is cool. But of the Space Sheriff robos, Dol certainty wins in terms of creativity.

What about the tanks? Which Space Sheriff tank (and I suppose we can include Juspion and Spielban here too as they carried over certain Space Sheriff traits) was the best?
