No, because I assumed there was a reason for it. Also, is there a reason why Bluefin isn't distributing them?

The reason for dumb BBTS prices is that figures that aren't distributed to them wholesale, they have to purchase like any of us would from a Japanese store. To fit whatever model they have for overhead and profit, they're exorbitantly priced compared to importing yourself, but at least have the benefit of getting them from a global retailer, the Pile of Loot, and their customer service. IF they ever get the figures in the first place, looking at you Ultra Brothers.

The reason Bluefin doesn't distribute them is tied up in licensing. Bandai aren't able to market these figures outside of Japan because Hasbro has a license that covers 6" Iron Man 2 toys. Not even their Bandai Asia markets are getting Iron Man and War Machine. There may also be more to it, such as what Play Imaginative is doing with their own 6" diecast line?

Ah, that makes sense. Unfortunate, but what can we do? I may have to live without those two if they don't become more available or a bit cheaper (I don't mind paying a premium for various reasons (I paid $70 after shipping for SRC Gurren Lagann, after all), but $70 before shipping is really pushing it).

Of course, it doesn't keep me from kicking myself for not knowing the situation and not paying more attention to pre-orders for them.

Bluefin announced they'll be distributing Figuarts Hurricane Red as the Red Ninja Storm Ranger.

Coming out in October for 41.99$ sans the fake Shurikenger vest used in Akibaranger.
