Another figure where its poses are limited by the pre-packaged cloth material positions...*sigh*. Hope SIC's version of Wizard/Beast is more creative, or at least uses softer plastics.

His proportions definitely look better than Wizard's. But another thing that I notice is the rings...I didn't think to ask about the Wizard figures b/c I'd already decided to skip 'em, but how do the rings work? Are they molded to the hands and you only get a few? Do they peg into the finger individually? That would be my preferred option but would obviously be prone to loose pegs and fragility...

Man, Wizard is just NOT a good fit for the Figuarts line is he?

anyone know if the Dragon Styles will be coming with different robe parts like Flame style and the others are?

I'm pretty sure the left hand always has the ring approriate for the current form, while the right hand just has a generic ring because the scale is just too small to tell the various magic rings apart.

Each hand has it's own ring, so for wizard that's IIRC five hands with the 'Driver On' Ring and five hands with the 'Flame Style' ring.

I have no idea why Bandai decide to do the ring gimmick the way they did and not just stick with how they did Fourze's switches. It's very silly for a variety of reasons, wasting resources to what could of gone to another accessory like more types of rings for more posing opportunities or another accessory like another robe or two.

It'd likely cause more issues for Beast if they don't include more hands for the correct rings in the mantle set (the current released pictures just have the driver on ring) it will be complete inaccurate and your posing will be very limited then.

The only real problem is the robe/mantles no way they coulda got round that but they just added more big problems.

TLDR: Bandai dropped the ball big time, but nothing can be done unfortunately.

The size difference between Figuarts and DC or Marvel can be attributed to how Figuarts represent live-action characters portrayed by real life actors, while comic book characters have "larger-than-life" stature. I recall OAFE's blog mentioning that as the reason why Movie Masters Christian Bale Batman is smaller than DC Universe Batman. (see here, scroll down to the paragraph next to the size comparison photo)

I don't know if that means anything, but I can sort of understand. Real life super hero actors don't have the same physique as comic book characters, anyway.
- The only reason I find it annoying is because my Spiderman figures are tall and lanky---and half a head taller than my Figuarts Riders.

...and don't get me started on what a pain it is to make custom figures from old Marvel Legends figures that DON'T tower over my Figuarts and Figmas...>:(

I have SHF Wizard with me right now. I am kinda disappointed. His head is way too big. It looks like he has no neck at all and his head is connected to the torso. The rest of the body is fine but the torso could be tweaked. Its too thin and short. You can instantly recognise his flaws when you compare it to the actual suit.

In conclusion, I will never get another Wizard related SHF ever again due to weird proportions.
