The Power Rangers Nickelodeon Era Has BEGUN!

Just to let you know, Nick officially has TMNT as their property as of yesterday. Today, they aired the TMNT: Turtles Forever movie at 12pm on the main channel.

So, this bodes well for Power Rangers and it's movies.

Not quite. It's owned by Saban Brands. Nick are just the US network that airs it, like how Cartoon Network is the US network for Star Wars: The Clone Wars - they don't own it, and in-fact, other networks broadcast the show in other countries.

But yeah, Nick is now the official home of PR in the USA.

Yes but Nick is still the daddy in this Saban/Nick relationship so they do actually own it's property/airing rights.

Alot of you people may know me as the guy who's negative about Power Rangers and Viacom..

:redface2:

I'm gonna give it a chance. I've pretty much given up "boycotting" Viacom months ago, and I'm still not too excited about upcomming Power Rangers series, knowing that Power Rangers is after all an Americanization of Super Sentai, but even so who knows now with Power Rangers being under control of Saban again it'll probably be as good as say.. the In Space - WildForce era.

It's just a shame that I don't live in the U.S (yeah, I don't wanna be a Wapanese anymore, I wanna be a Wamerican!! :P). Nickelodeon UK has yet to air Power Rangers, plus to make things more inconvinient we thrown away our Sky TV. We do get access to German TV though analogue satellite, and we have the German Nickelodeon, but I don't know if Nickelodeon Germany will air Power Rangers either.

For all we know PR could end up on Cartoon Network or some no-name network like Kix (which airs Digimon Data Squad). The Nick deal isn't global it applies to the US only. Also CITV still airs RPM.

Yay...the TMNT/PRiS team up.:buttrock:

You do know "Turtles Forever" was the team-up between the 1987 and 2003 era Turtles right?

..Which can sometimes be both original and vastly superior to Super Sentai

Yeah, I'm not sure they will be airing that PRIS/TMNT team up but Nick will be airing TMNT: 2K3 on Nick and other action oriented TMNT shows will air on Nicktoons.

VERY unlikely that PR end up on Cartoon Network. But we will have to see what happening in the future.
