The Happening - DO NOT SEE IT!

A couple of my friends wanted to see The Happening instead of Incredible Hulk, I told them it was going to be a shitty half assed paranoia thriller (barely paranoia) with a dumb twist coming out of no where and a terrible ending. Like every M. Night Shyamalan movie. Just by reading that last sentence you don't need to see any Shyamalan flick.

[hide]Honestly though, I always wondered if nature wasnt cooking something up for us. REmember everything in nature has a balnce, and we have f*cked that balance up pretty bad.[/hide]

I was gonna see it last night, but tickets sold out. And thank god too. My cousin and two other friends and myself decided to drive around. Went laser tagging lol We were bored as hell. When we met with the rest of our friends, who were watching it, after the movie they were disgusted that they wasted their money for that piece of crap movie. Plus I wasn't even in the mood to watch another movie since I watched Hulk about 24 hours earlier.

I cannot express what a terrible movie it was... you know how most movies come down to opinion and tastes?

This one was actually just *terrible*.

And people who know me know, that I don't say this pretty much ever. I don't throw out terms like "bad movie" just because I don't like something.

This.... was *actually* bad. I am stunned, confused, disgusted and angered at this movie.

Meh, all horror movies are the same god damned thing. Either that or reharshed from some other story.

Speaking of which, what they described in The Happening reminded me of Apathy Syndrome from Persona 3.

I though LitW was a pretty good movie.

Paul Giamotte is a great actor, and so is the Howard girl (Can't think of her name atm.)

If you did, good for you. Different strokes and all. Me though, it seemed Night had a little too much of himself invested in it. Like how he cast himself as the writer whose work will change the world. And how he said "Hey critics? Spin on it" with the one character.

And I know I'm a huge fan of shows about men in rubber suits beating on each other, but I could never take something seriously where the heroine was a "Narf." Sorry, not happening.
