I'm super curious about this Batman adaptation. It feels like every few years we get a new take on the character, but with the demand for darker, more complex stories, I think Absolute Batman could really hit the mark. I mean, I loved how they tackled the psychological aspects in shows like Batman: The Animated Series.
I do hope they don't shy away from the heavier themes, though. There's a lot of potential here if they lean into the grit rather than just going for surface-level action. Anyone else think this'll finally give us a Batman series that does justice to the more nuanced parts of the lore?
