Well yeah, I don't think anybody ever really expects Burger King to be mind-blowing, but it looked pretty good and I love the Whopper. Plus I'm curious as to what an "angry onion" is.

Depending on the particular BK branch you go to, I've seen them do it 2 ways:

a) think of a "dismantled" bloomin' onion (i.e. it's no longer whole, the "onion leaves" are all separate) with a VERY LIGHT sprinkling of cayenne pepper.

OR

b) they take their BK onion rings (the really tiny ones), and throw them on a whopper with a VERY LIGHT sprinkling of cayenne pepper.


It tastes decent enough, but seriously, unless you find jarred salsa from the supermarket to be spicy, there's nothing "angry" about the wannabe-angry whopper.
