Joking aside, this movie looks fantastic.

I feel obligated to launch into an exasperated diatribe about how bad Corey Yuen's choreography sucks and why, but it would probably be lost on most of you anyway. Still, my pride compels me to insist that not only is the fight example I posted totally not awesome, but is one of the most tepid, inane, papier mache travesties to ever emerge from the dark age of Hollywood martial arts choreography trailing the temporary popularity of The Matrix. Sucker Punch, on the other hand, had this going for it:

Why? They're not spam or inflammatory in any way. This has been a legitimate discussion. I don't know what else we're really supposed to talk about in a this thread considering the movie itself hasn't even been released yet...

While I may agree that that Charlie's Angels fight scene was awesome, it practically didn't make any sense to work in the real world (since it is the setting of Charlie's Angels, even with the exaggerations). Most moves totally defy the laws of physics, gaining enough power to do something without the needed momentum. Whereas in Sucker Punch, it was within a dream sequence, so it works. And yeah, that Charlie's Angels fight scene being better is your opinion, since my opinion is this fight scene trumps that.

Hahaha I actually thought the slowmo parts were good, but as I did say, it was waaay too over the top which didn't work in the movie's setting.
