SUPER HERO TAISEN DRINKING GAME

Keith, the plot is so "non-existent" that you can be able to understand the movie EVEN WITHOUT THE SUBS...............might as well try it RAW, brotha :169:

This is one of the few cases I can honestly say you don't need subs and can just watch it raw. It's that pointless and without any kind of plot that you can watch it without knowing Japanese whatsoever.

If you are slightly lost, here's a handy guide to the plot in a bullet points:

[hide]Marvelous: I will destroy all Riders.
Tsukasa: I will destroy all Sentai.
Whoeverthefcuk: Go back and see Akaranger
Akaranger: We must destroy all Riders.
Rider 1: We must destroy all Sentai.
Akaranger: I am not Akaranger.
Rider 1: I am not Rider 1.
Marvelous/Tsukasa: We were just fcuking with you.
DiEnd: Why didn't you tell me your plan, you're dumped Tsukasa.[/hide]

Thank you for the co-sign, Tom

Keith, just take yourself a shot and do it RAW & hard (PAUSE)

Wow some of you really like it RAW huh? I can't really watch something raw cause I then I loose interest before the subs even come out.

Also sex jokes.

okay, 2 things

1. I hate drinking games with a burning passion

2. don't believe any of the haters for this movie. they can go to hell. I just watched the movie, and it was amazing! the movie moved at a good pace, was enjoyable throughout, and the battles were absolutely stupendous. it's a great movie, and there was only one thing I didn't like about it. so yeah, AFAIC, this movie was a big success

You do know that it's fine to dislike things?

There's no reason to be a fanboy of the whole thing if you only like explosions or CGI.

There's a promotional shot with several of the commander type monsters standing together in the location of the final battle though, so they might get some scene if there's a DC.
You've been mentioning this for a while, but has there been a DC for a spring movie?
I recall LGKR had different angles for some scenes in magazines and we never had one.

I recall LGKR had different angles for some scenes in magazines and we never had one.

Chou Den-O & Decade had a DC, neither Den-O Trilogy nor Let's Go Kamen Riders got DCs. All the movies that did not get DCs though had credits separated from the movie footage for their original cut - because separating credits from the movie is a feature that Toei always advertises for their DCs, so, if there's no DC, they include the clean footage in the original cut itself. Meanwhile, in Super Hero Taisen, the credits and ending song were mixed with the footage of the final scenes, just like in the summer movies and winter movies, which have DCs.

The movies without DCs also didn't have movie footage in trailers that wasn't used in the movies themselves, or even scenes advertised in magazines that weren't in the movie at all (They did have advertisement for some underwhelming scenes though, like the Decade vs Shadowmoon battle in Let's Go Kamen Rider, but that's a different matter), unlike the W and Accel stuff here. On the other hand, we have already seen magazines leaking scenes that only were seen in the DC, like Decade's partial arm transformation in Movie Wars 2010.

Different angles or even special poses for promo shots are rather common though - even Megamax had a group shot including all Riders together, minus Poseidon, something that never happened even in the DC. However, I think the promo shot with Daguba is interesting because it's in the location of the final battle, and yet the Daguba suit itself isn't even present in any of the group shots there or any of the smaller fighting scenes there. So, it apparently wasn't easily available or a suit they threw in randomly. Also, all other suits shown in the picture there seem to be specifically from commander-type Rider villains who weren't destroyed on screen in the footage we have now, which seems to be too coincidental.

In addition to Daguba, there's Joker, King Orphenoc, Llumu Quimil and the El of Earth... Everything seems to line up for there being some unseen footage where Dai-Shocker's remaining commanders are destroyed on screen. It might just turn out to be a coincidence though, and even if there's a DC, that group shot might be just a promotional image, unrelated to any movie scenes, but it seems awfully specific, especially considering the location, choice of suits, and the absence of Daguba's suit in group shots. Also, it's not from a magazine, but from the Dai-Shocker page in the movie booklet, every single other shot from that section was taken from the movie itself.

Even the one cut scene that we have completely confirmed right now thanks to the trailers, with W and Accel, was supposed to show them defeating the Black Cross King according to the magazines. So it makes sense that there's some unseen footage showing the remaining Rider commander monsters being defeated too.

I guess the big thing against that one group shot with Daguba being an actual scene is just the timing. Joker is shown to be alive while the Gokaiger destroy Hunter Silver. So, that likely means that the scene would need to come after Bio Hunter Silver is destroyed at least, if it's really supposed to be a scene where they're destroyed. On the other hand, that's an assumption on top of an assumption. Even if it's a real scene, I might be mistaken about its point, which could allow it to come earlier. Or it might just come afterwards, but I'll be surprised if they cut some kind of "finish off all the remaining villains!" scene by that point of the movie.

Just because you got your Kaito fanservice here, don't make it a great movie.

and the battles were absolutely stupendous.

eh? that was one of the worst choreographed battles i've seen in recent toku movie releases. Then again i guess i was spoiled by A to Z, Megamax and the Fourze movie. Hell even Gokaiger's Legend War intro was way better than how they handled the SentaixRider vs ZangyackxDaiShocker battle in this movie.

Do I even dare watch this movie again? I already wasted like $20 and 2 hrs of my life when it came out.

Well since this is a drinking game:

- Drink a bottle when Diend is using an over-sized lever
- Take a shot when Joe doesn't act cool
- Take a shot when you see a tear/rip on Decade's armor/costume
- Take a shot for similar looking scene

I thought of another pair of rules, although these will make this movie suicidal to drink to with all these other rules as well.
-Take a shot for every Rider taken out by Gokai Red (Meaning 7 shots in the first 3 minutes)
- Take a swig for every group of Sentai taken out by Decade

how about this as a new rule?

- Every time Diend(Daiki) and Gokai Blue(Joe) have a conflict/fight scene, take a drink

Yeah, the battles were good. But what about the plot? You can't have a good movie just because the action scenes were good, the plot has to be good as well. That's why we were hating on it, the plot makes no sense at all.

I thought the plot was interesting, and I'm pretty sure that in the end it was basically the bad guys trying to trick the Sentai and Riders into destroying each other

actually my one problem was [HIDE]that DiEnd was the final villain. that bugged me[/HIDE]

and I really did like the fight scenes, especially the dream team-ups

The only one that stood out was Hibiki and Magiranger, (Since Wizard wasn't around yet) Go-Onger and Kiva didn't make sense. Den-O and Gekiranger was just more Den-O slapstick.
....oh, another rule
- Every time the Imajins smack each other take a shot.
