I know what you mean, Rider Faiz. Savior Den-o posts some disgusting stuff in the Henshin Hottie thread and he checks it every day and he's like 13 or 14.

Also keep in mind that we've had industry people popping on the forums from time to time and how bad would it look if we got into a shitstorm because minors were somehow allowed into an "Adult" part of the forum.
Seriously, it's just a bad idea. But like I said, that shouldn't stop anyone from discussing topics over PM's or creating your own forum for this purpose.

But this isnt something that can support an entire forum.
This is something that we need one small section to post threads in.
Making an entire forum for "HJU Adults Only" would just be a waste of time and money.
I mean seriously, who's going to follow me? I'm sorta known around here, but nobody is going to be like "Yeah we should totally follow this guy and go to his forum too"
And plus even if I make my own forum, thats not going to stop the kids from making accounts and saying that they're 18+. So it accomplishes nothing.
I mean why wouldnt it be something like the newshounds section. An area people dont even know about unless they have access to it. It could be on a case by case basis, people would have to post a mod about it, stating they want access, the mod could look over their history, and grant it if they're old enough.
Just think of the good this section could do for people who are confused about their sexuality, or anything adult in general, it doesnt necessarily have to be about sex.
I mean you guys are like family to me, and without Dami's help, I wouldnt be as comfortable about who I am and what I've become. I want to extend that to people who were like me, confused about themselves. And it can be done in a very mature, adult manner.
Hell, if its a money issue I'll fund it out of my own goddamn pocket.

I agree, and there is no real way to prevent kids from seeing stuff they shouldn't. Any kind of barrier you put in their way, will just make them want to get in more. And yes, they will get in.

I am going to be frank, your idea seems to have noble intentions behind it but honestly this place isn't meant for that. Personally I love to discuss philosophy, having a discussion about free will is one of my favorite things in the world to do, but I don't bring it up here since this isn't the place for it. This place is built around the shared enjoyment of live-action superhero shows. That is the glue that holds this place together and what brings people here. By introducing something so divorced from that it would feel out of place for most people, become a target of ridicule, and ultimately be a waste for everyone involved.
I know this sounds weird coming from someone relativity new and not that sociable, but I will try to make myself clear. All communities are built around some shared aspect, in the real world it is usually something like location and/or ethnicity. Online it is more cerebral and usually centers around whatever the desired point of discussion is and while it can get away the initial area of interest to a point there is a limit. As that limit is reached or surpassed the topic feels foreign and the community reacts as such. Now I could be wrong (there is very, very high chance I am), but this is how I see it.
