I was mowing the yard last night and, as I often do while mowing, I became inspired. I wanted to do a script for a toku homage comic, and I think I came up with a good idea.
SQUADRON 7
In 1945, Japan surrendered to the United States to end World War II. One of the agreements that Japan had to abide with was that they were to give all of their military secrets to the United States. One of these secrets was the design of an elite combat operative team known as Project 7. This team was given state of the art technology unlike anything the United States had seen, mostly based around teleportation technology.
The United States took up the project, spending 67 years and countless billions to finally perfect the teleportation technology from the plans taken from the Japanese. The result was the creation of "Teleporting Armor" that could be donned at a moments notice. This armor, along with the advances in combat technologies, saw the rebirth of the Arms Race, as people began to try to compete with this technology.
The U.S. government, however, decided that they would use the technology in a more clandestine way. They recruited 7 elite individuals and outfitted them with the technology to become Squadron 7, who would be used for more black-ops scenarios.
