My favorite sports drama thus far is H2. It's baseball, and teen love, and everything that makes J-Drama beautiful.

honestly GekiViolet-dono, Basketball is not popular in Japan (and only until when the great Takehiko Inoue made a manga about it named "Slam Dunk"). Which was also the same case in Football/Soccer that the sport got popular only when Captain Tsubasa was published as a manga. Heck, when Americans introduced basketball, they treated it as a feminine sport XD

Baseball is prolly the one of the most popular sport in Japan, due to the fact that batting a ball is somewhat similar to katana slashing.

awww, I was hoping to see a badminton drama, since I love to play badminton.
well, I hardly heard of anybody in Japan playing badminton, except Masashi Mikami (BoukenBlue) who does play it back in high school.

Because in Tennis there's Twist Serve, Hadokyuu, Boomerang Snake, etc.....
