This show is BEAST! Unfortunately, production of the second season has been postponed due to some health issues with the star of the show, Andy Whitfield. He was diagnosed with some form of cancer, but thankfully they caught it early enough, and he's undergoing full recovery. Production for season 2 should begin within a few months.

It was confirmed last month that a prequel to the series is on its way! Apparently, the prequel will focus on the rise of the house of House of Batiatus, and all characters will reprise their respective roles.

I didn't even know Lucy Lawless was on the show and then I wondered, that naked girl looks like Xena, oh wait.
