Soul Calibur movie official site up

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

It's gonna be tough getting a cast that fits the all the character profiles, too.

[scikaiju]

that's if they don't decide to tweak the characters to fit the script

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

I know. I'm trying not to think about that possibility too much...*sigh*

[SaikoDragon]

Well after seeing that trailer for the DoA movie... I have no hope for this one. Honestly, a soul calibur movie has the potential to kick ass. That is if they READ the fucking story and understand it enough to adapt it properly. I swear to god if they turn Nightmare into some brainless tyrant who dies a stupid death I will murder them. =_=

I mean it could be a good movie. I wish there were some pictures.

A Tale of Souls and swords...

WTF!!!!:eyebrow:

Hope they dont ruin this video game franchise, because as we allready know video game to movie arent always good idea, xcept for Super Mario Brothers cuz that movie OWN3D!!!:buttrock:

Anyways as a huge fan of the Soul Calibur series I think Its also a good thing and a bad thing.

The Good: whe get to se hotties so little close and swords:thumbs:

the Bad: hope its a realy good movie and not just an ¨answer¨ to Dead or Alive...:170:

Either way I know ill see it.. eventually.. some day...

The main heroes should be Kilik, Xiangua, Talim and Maxi. Raphael should journey with them for a while and turn evil. Seigfried should play a large role, probably sacrificing himself at the end so that his Nightmare self can be forever destroyed.

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

Sophitia should have a signficant role, too, of course. And a potential appearence by Cassandra, depending on the what part of the timeline the movie focuses on.

[VengeanceGOD]

I suppose. I think I'm biased against them 'cause I hate playing with them.

So who would you guys cast? I was gonna say Zizi Zhang for Xiangua, but then I realized I've never seen her play that happy a role.

I think JYB would make a great Maxi. But then, I also want to cast JYB in EVERYTHING.

[Ragna "D" BloodEdge]

Not sure about the others yet, but personally, I'd cast Peta Wilson as Ivy.

[VengeanceGOD]

Peta Wilson?
