As you all might know by now my recent haul included Kamen Rider Alternative & the Hyper Hobby Exclusive Alternative Zero. So now to cure some curiosity I'll show off how they both are and their differences.
Alternative was the original Rider to go after Kanzaki Yui. He was a student involved in Shiro's original experiments. The Scientist was Alternative Zero and is the one sporting the glasses in this pic. Each figure stands respectively infront of their packages. Their head sculpts represent their respective characters very well:
Upon closer inspection from a side view you clearly see Alternative Zero has more silver accents. Nothing is different from the back side though:
Once you put them all together the differences are more noticeable:
In closing the differences are very subtle and the exclusive isn't really necessary for some collectors. But for me completeness is a must when possible and I found the exclusive brand new for only 30 dollars. I had to get it. And if you have both you can take pics like this:
