What is there to like about a 10-pile tower of animals that can barely move without CGI? And speaking of movement, look at a mecha battle from, say, Maskman, Zyuranger or Ohranger (three shows with some of the best mecha action in Sentai) and compare it to what you see in mid-90s to current Sentai. Mecha that don't amble and aren't so damn heavy? What a concept!

This isn't Sentai from the 80-90's, this is the 00' sentai. Things change over the years. ^^;

I've always liked the idea of combining all the mecha into one for a final mecha. I tend to like designs no matter what I look at. If I went and looked at those battles you mentioned, I'm more then 75% sure I'd like them as well.

Of course things change. But not all change is good. Nor is 'change' synonymous with 'good'.

Change goes on, for good or worse. You just have to make do with what you have, =]

Given how most fansubbers have dropped old shows after only a few episodes, you're going to have to sit through raws for a lot of them. Maskman and Jetman are the only pre-00 shows to be completely subbed, but the quality of those subs are questionable at best.

No we don't. I can still voice my dissent. If Toei doesn't give a damn about it (which I somehow doubt, but that's another story), it makes no difference. I don't have to roll over and take everything given to me.

It's not even as though the mecha combos look good. It's just more ugly clutter like in Go-On. You've tried this system for three years now, Toei and Bandai. (Bouken, Go-On, Shinken) It's not working. Quit while you're behind and save at least some modicum of respectability you might still have.

Well Fang, I don't want you to roll over or nothin, but how long are you going to complain and/or voice you opinion, until you realize It's no use?

I do agree Toei should grow their balls back, and just quit this OD mecha stuff, but stressing over It, is only creating more stress for myself. and for yourself too.

I wouldnt call the fight anticlimatic just because the guy didn't blow up. It was a great Samurai sword clash, ending with Takeru literally running up Juzou's blade to get in an attack.

Yo Black Fang, I know you startin a rant and all, and Imma let you finish, but Go-Onger's Engineoh G12 was the best multi-combiner of ALL TIME!! OF ALL TIME!!!

And I thought G12 was cool too...DaiKaiShinkenOh has a better design though SaiDaiGekiRinTouja(Wolf) was a bit too much spread out fo me. I don't get why the had GekiJaguar and GekiCheetah on the sides...
