Soooo... Juzou. (SPOILERS)

Keith, Keith, Keith.

He's not out, not yet. No doubt, he's probably limping towards the forest as we speak.

To bring him back, he should go on a Killing spree, and just outright slaughter some humans, so he could heal and/or become stronger.

he's not dead but later he could be alive sooner or later. somehow has connection with Dayu since 24-25.

Well Fang, I don't want you to roll over or nothin, but how long are you going to complain and/or voice you opinion, until you realize It's no use?

I do agree Toei should grow their balls back, and just quit this OD mecha stuff, but stressing over It, is only creating more stress for myself. and for yourself too.

Is it really no use? That's what people said about PR for years until people like Doug Sloan, other writers and cast members began appearing on the boards and interacting with people. (And in the case of some fans made them more swell-headed in the process, but I digress...) The point is they received praise and criticism alike directly. Is it not possible that Toei, Tsuburaya, Takara, etc. could peruse fanboards (anonymously or not) to get feedback on their stuff? "They only care about the Japanese audience" Well I don't know if that's entirely true either. PR is American made, but is shown worldwide. Tokus have been shown all over the world and have large fanbases outside Japan, not even counting boards like this. I somehow doubt Toei (in principal anyway) deems them as completely irrelevant.

So to continue promoting this mindset of "We don't matter, it's no use" is misguided and even hypocritical. What is the point of even having a discussion board if you're going to be all "Hey, let's have a place to chat about the awesomeness of toku.... but what you say means nothing, we don't count as an audience, so don't dissent"? Are these places to exchange ideas or covert mouthpieces for Toei, Tsuburaya, Takara, etc.?

English-language forums? Pretty damn unlikely. Remember, Toei, Tsuburaya and Takara for the most part don't sell anything to us directly. Any money they see from Western audiences is either funneled through licensing fees from Adness, Disney, and Bandai or provided very indirectly through import purchase.

Toei, Tsuburaya and Takara are going to pay close attention to Japanese forums and fans, sure. They'd be stupid not to, that's their primary audience. We English-speakers are a secondary audience, though, and one that is going to have relatively little influence over a final product that we're not even supposed to be watching in its original form.

Tokusatsu is for the most part a commercial venture. The companies want to create successful products. But since they don't really sell products to us directly, they don't care about our opinion of the original. Now, our opinion of Power Rangers, Dragon Knight, and other Americanized products can matter, but even then we're a secondary audience because we're not little kids.

These forums are here for the amusement of the fans that post to them, nothing less or more. They're an utterly quixotic staging ground for any crusade to change tokusatsu. At best, you might change Dragon Knight or Power Rangers.

I don't think anyone can claim for certain "Oh, Toei doesn't care about us, they don't give a ****" or any other variation of that. Because who knows? Actors and singers of these shows are aware of the fans outside of Japan, so why would a producer, writer, director or executive be any different? I'm not saying they'd completely trash their plans for new sentai Mecha Sentai Mechanger because Shougo B'Stard is complaining about how much he hates mecha and thinks they've gotten fugly as fug, but I wouldn't be quick to dismiss the idea of someone involved with Toei knowing about the overseas fandom, or perhaps even being interested to know their reactions.

I'm convinced that Toei saw Basri's Black World sig and that's what gave them the idea to derail Decade and bring Koutarou aboard!

Given how most fansubbers have dropped old shows after only a few episodes, you're going to have to sit through raws for a lot of them. Maskman and Jetman are the only pre-00 shows to be completely subbed, but the quality of those subs are questionable at best.

Oh. I'll have no clue on the plot then, but meh.

When you say older sentai's does that include Megaranger - GoGo V?
