SOOO...

OOO will be picking up again starting April 10.
Episode 27 (27-3-11) and 28 (3-4-11) is celebrating it being Kamen Rider episodes 999 and 1000.

I don't see how you can say it was going nowhere considering episode 15 and 16, but the mysteries about Ankh start in 20, and develop further n 25, and then your practically where the series is if you want to check back

Yea I still have the last two episodes on my computer. I'm going to refresh my memory with them.

A friend of mine watched some recent OOO episodes by chance with me and then asked to see the first one. She knows nothing about Rider and yet voiced the same complaints I have about the show: namely the bad/overabundant comedy ruins the otherwise interesting premise and (regarding the Greeds and Yummies) air of creepiness. OOO's villains are Grongi-lite, when they could easily be Grongi-redux.

If it's apparent to a layman, it should be to the fans too.

Having a population sample of 1 which represents those who had no prior knowledge with OOO wouldn't really be a valid basis for generalization right? I get your point and I respect that you don't like the show. But I appreciate the path the show took and the unpredictability of the Greeeds and Yummies. They might not be Grongi or Unknown worthy, but this is because recent KR shows have taken a more "PG" atmosphere. It may not be as great as Kuuga or Agito, but it's really not bad.

I didn't say I outright hated the show. I'm still watching, I haven't dropped it. But I am disappointed with it, even more so after rewataching Kuuga a few months ago. The show could easily be much better if Toei didn't have the compulsion to shove in watered down Den-O craziness into episodes, even where they really shouldn't belong, and had a soundtrack done by someone who cared.

Ok, I agree with you on this one, but at least it's not pure comedy. And the light-heartedness does mix well with the theme for me.

Meh, I beieve it's going to get gritty soon, these special episodes are draining the last of the comedy, and now we're going into Blacker territory. The mystery of Ankh, Gil, etc.

All caught up..it did get better, but because of the same reason I liked it in the first place..because of Anhk. I love R5 as birth, he's a great actor and an incredibly unique comedic character. Hina hina hina...she's really freakin sexy, but I don't know why. There's something really hot about her, but I can't put my finger on it. She revs the engines though.

Chiyo-san w/e lady is really beautiful, her smile is so inviting. I don't care how thug you are, you can't say no to her. She's a great actor as well. Cake girl is cute too, love the way she doesn't give a rats ass for anything she does. Her bland tired expressions is her being happy, lmao.

Anhk was too awesome when he was laughing in Hina's face when he threw Eiji off the building. That moment made it official that he's one of my favorite KR characters. Dudes a great actor, has great reactions, and plays an ass really well.

Because since it is a kid show, you automatically assume he'll turn good and/or truly care for others, but you just honestly never know with him.

He definitely needs to be a Sentai senshi. I remember when he was rumored to be one, one year, I believe it was for Shinkenger. From pictures i thought he looked lame, but he is really the opposite. Too bad KR has so many damn movies, he'd be too busy reprising his roles in OOO's events to become a Sentai Senshi.
