I thought this episode was cool at first until I realized that its really a rip-off of the Matrix. I do like how Chloe returned to the show and boy has her character changed so much from Season One. When she was looking at the group pic of her, Clark and Pete, that was when I remembered how much she's changed. It was nice to see Clark fly but too bad it was in the Matrix world. Yet just another tease before he finally does. I kinda liked how that went but kinda feel cheapened by it too. I'm glad to see new episodes again though and can't wait for the next one as Lionel Luthor reclaims Luthorcorp.

My first thought was "Smallville: The Matrix Episode."

I think it was the weakest episode of the season, but it was still enjoyable.

I thought this episode was cool at first until I realized that its really a rip-off of the Matrix. I do like how Chloe returned to the show and boy has her character changed so much from Season One. I had suspicions that it was a Matrix episode as soon as Chloe said that Oliver had power in the world if he believed he did because it was Morpheus and Neo back in the computer simulation in the Matrix when that happened the first time. :laugh: The Chloe's fighting and the slow motion confirmed it.

Damn, Clark. If he can fly in a fake world, why can't he fly in the real world when he knows he can?!

I wonder what the deal is with Lionel. He was a decent guy right before he died. He comes back and he's a villain? I think this is a new Lionel or at least a different one.

No. If you watch it, you lose count unless you look for them every time you watch an episode for a decade.
