I wonder what the deal is with Lionel. He was a decent guy right before he died. He comes back and he's a villain? I think this is a new Lionel or at least a different one.

It's because the Lionel next episode is the Lionel from the alternate universe where Clark is a Luthor.

At the very end of the episode where Clark travels to the alternate universe, it shows Lionel reading a newspaper or something in Clark's universe. I'd been waiting for him to make his appearance for a while...

He was reading a newspaper at the stand, but is he the alternate Lionel or what? Alternate Lionel was defeated and he was on the floor when Clark went back to his world. Even if he healed on the way back, wouldn't he be in a coffin because they switch places? :eyebrow:

I was excited to see him during the sneak peek from Comic Con.

The staff should go get Michael Rosembaum to return at least for the final episode! :shakefist They have a Lex Luthor with hair! There is no excuse!

I think Rosembaum was disappointed by the missed potential Lex Luthor had. Rosembaum shaved his head for years but he felt that the character was going nowhere and he had to pay the price to only get so little for it. He seems to be tired of it all.
