Both Abaranger and Go-onger had in common the fact that their mechas were living, in a partnership with the heroes, and with a few exceptions able to talk (unlike for example Gingaman or Gaoranger, or other series like Shinkenger or Hurricanger where one or two mechas were able to talk but not the bulk of them)
