Based on the first episode, I saw that the Shinkengers had the same things Kakuranger had, from the suits to the introductions, weapons and the way they pilot the mecha.

so who wins? Kakuranger? or Shinkenger? you decide.

If any, Kaku is better off being compared to Hurricane...and leave Shinken out of this...this being the very first Samurai Motif in Super Sentai and all.

Exactly, Shinkenger should be left alone, and will probably be alone for a long time or forever seeing as I don't see another Sentai close to samurai being made in the future. That is a good thing.
