There's no writing involved, you just click the brush strokes in the right order. Very easy stuff if you understand the logic involved in writing kanji.

Would've been cool if you actually got to write stuff. I keep getting Takeru's grandfather, which I'm guessing means I did it wrong

When he comes out looking like he's gonna whip you with the fan it means you got it wrong, when he comes out with the fan open and kind of happy surprised it means you got it right, and this is what happens when you get a perfect score. Only took me two tries and at that it was the easiest one I messed up on. :buttrock:
