i wont start persona 3 till FES comes out...

is digital devil saga 1 and 2 any good??? what about nocturne???

FYI: You can upload you're original save from P3 to FES. Nocturne and DDS aren't too bad, there hard as heck though.

nocturn is definitly fun and Dante from devil may cry is in the game as well which pretty cool in my opinion.also person 2 on ps1 is the best one in my opinion so thats definitly worth picking up if you can find it.

DDS is a great set of games. Just don't play 2 before 1. DDS2 uses an end save from DDS1. All the choices you make in the first game effect the second game. It even goes so far as to dictate certain characters you can or can not get in DDS2.

Nocturne is a great game. It is more about the characters travels than an over all story. The Demon creation becomes really involved later on. It also had multiple endings.

Well, the earlier games actually had the rebirth of a goddess, hence the "Megami Tensei". The rest of the games have a connection akin to the Final Fantasy series (same spell names, items, demons).

There are fan translations for the early SMT games for Snes. The group that did them is the same group that translated Rudra. Very high quality. If anyone wants to see where this series got it's start you could try there. I just wish the Xbox SMT game had come out in the US.

yeah I played dds 2 because I couldn't get a copy of dds1 and it's SOOOOO hard without that end save file that even though I'm right at the end, I can't beat it.

awesome game otherwise though, then henshining aspect is sweet, and the ability to eat other monsters rocks!

If you are having a hard time with the ending of DDS1, I suggest reading a faq. Some of those boss's are a pain in the ass with their immunities.
