Shin Megami Tensei: Dark Wish (RPG Topic)

Griffin noticed as he turned around to continue his conversation with Gerald that his canister was on the ground. After picking up the canister Griffin would get up and run back to the group, hoping that Gerald would of just gotten lost, but knew in the back of his head he was looking for something to keep him intoxicated. Griffin honestly didn't care about Gerald enough to risk his life to go after him, but he was hopeful his demon would be able to keep him safe. Walking along Griffin would hear Eric and Martin's conversation, and when Eric mentioned that it was our demons making us feel safe it would cause Griffin to interrupt him," Well that may be your opinion, but Martin is the only one keeping me calm at this moment." Griffin would look at Martin and smile," You know more then you lead on, and once we take out this Forneus guy I think we'll have to talk..." Griffin would then smile and shrug things off before speaking again," Then again if things get so bad there is no hope for survival I'll save a couple of bullets for myself and you guys can fight over the rest if you know what i mean." Griffin would say before making a gun with his fingers pointing it at his head shouting," Bang!"

Diana was actually a bit surprised about this. "You were going to enter college?" Diana couldn't help but wonder if the young woman wore that going to her interview, but cast that notion aside. "I see...well, that was one of my ideas, before this happened...that, or getting a job...I wasn't sure." Diana answered honestly.

Listening intently to Diana, Lucy nodded as she walked along. I see...so she is undecided with her future... she thought, deciding to speak up once more. "Well, to be honest, I'm entering college, since I thought I might be able to find out for sure what I want there," she said, chuckling slightly. "I know it's not the best idea, but I have to try, you, know?" she added, scratching the back of her head slightly.

"Ah...well, to be honest, at least you know you want to at least get some higher education..me, I can't even decide that." Diana said, sighing some. If she was able to survive this ordeal, she would really have to think on what she would have to do next with her life. As for Martin, he had to agree with Eric's take on things. It was because of his invention that they were all able to survive and stay calm in this crazy situation, and if anything happened to it, well, they would be more prone to madness.

Griffin then came and spoke with Martin as well, who made it known that he wanted to talk to him after Forneus was defeated and that, if things went sour, he would commit suicide and let the others fight over the remaining bullets to do the same thing. Martin sighed at this. "As long as we stick together and with the plan, Forneus should be something we can handle..." It was at this point he looked around, noticing that one of their own was gone. "Hm, it is kind of my fault that I didn't say that we should all stay together...most of these demons are of the type he can handle himself, as long as he doesn't get overrun." He sighed again. He really didn't want to devote manpower to go and get Gerald, since that would put them further away from the current objective. He thought he would be democratic about this at the very least.

"It looks like that one of our own has wandered off." He started, speaking up to address everyone. "Now...I ask all of you, should we go and try to get him, or just continue on to get to Forneus?" It was also a bit of an experiment he wanted to conduct, on if these people would want to go after someone they just met. Diana, for her part, heard this and her answer was obvious. "Well...shouldn't we go after him? I mean, if this Forneus guy is strong, we'll need everyone's help..."

This was certainly an interesting proposition. On one hand, Leos had little desire to go after someone who was foolish enough to wander off while demons were running wild. If he got attacked, maybe he'd learn something from the whole endeavor, assuming the demons didn't kill him. On the other hand, having someone apart from the group could be beneficial. The lone survivor could act as a scout, or perhaps help to flank their enemies. If Forneus was as strong as Martin made him out to be, a pincer attack would likely help even the odds, even if only by a little.

If Melchom had an opinion on the matter, he kept it to himself.

"Well, it was kinda dumb for him to wander off," Leos said, "but maybe we could use it to our advantage somehow? Is there any way we could contact him? Can these COMPs send messages to each other?"

"Yes, these COMPs can send and receive messages to each other. If you look under 'COMP Users', it will give you a list of everyone with a COMP in the area. We should still pick his signal up here." With this new information, Diana gave her own opinion to the others. "I think we should contact him with a message and tell him to get back to us. I mean, I think it is better if we all worked together in this case." Martin took note of her response and nodded. "Yes, that is one way to go about this...but, since we are a big group now, I'll listen to everyone who has an opinion and we'll do things by majority rule...that's the fair way, right?" Martin also knew that it probably wasn't a good idea to keep Griffin alone for too long, but he had to let everyone have a say. Not to mention that it was Griffin's fault for breaking off from them to begin with.

"No question in my mind, this group has to stick together, even with our otherwordly allies the enemies outnumber us greatly, losing even one member of the group could cripple our efforts more than we may think." Eric said after taking a few moments to think over the circumstances. "The sooner we get back that guy who wandered off the better probably, who knows how long he will be able to last on his own. The last thing we need is a permanent reduction of our numbers."
