And I'm on the same page as you, Keith. The PR/Toku fandom is one of the most negative and cynical I've EVER experienced, only closely followed by Star Wars. Just the amount of hate people are willing to spew is amazing. Remember when we were trying to get some petitions for season DVDs? People wouldn't even TRY, and they'd flame the hell out of anyone who did for being "stupid", even though they wanted the DVDs too.

Also, the Japan/America or PR/Sentai wars are just plain moronic. Saying you like one but you can't even respect the other, or that you, like Ray and PA, dream of a day where PR won't have any Japanese footage, is...argh. There are some people on this board (*cough*DragonFighter*cough* ) who are of the mentality that anything that comes out of America is crap, but none of them feel the desperate need to force their opinions on everyone like people on Rangerboard.

The really unfortunate thing is that the biggest PR community on the web has this complete atmophere of asshole-ness (for lack of a better word.) Hell, I flame people on there all the time...I can't help it. The place just does that to me. I'd love to see HJU become the biggest place instead. Sure, we have negativity and cynicism here, but we drown it out with the amount of kickass people who come here every day. The atmosphere's just completely different. People care about each other here, not just about themselves. That's a special thing.

For a once, I agree with you, 100%. I've had enough for PR VS Sentai war. Seriously... this board is an awesome. I don't want any negative on this board... that's pretty irraitiend(sp?) (sorry, forget how to spell that. :shakefist ) to me. This has to stop right here, right now. If any Sentai snobs start to flame who are anti-sentites people, that makes me want to become an anti-sentites. NO OFFENSE. This isn't funny at all. I don't feel like to flame Poweranimals and others. This is getting bored. Now let's just keep whoever's negative away from Anti-sentites and Anti-PR. if anyone continues to flame Anti-Sentites, then it'll get worse and worse.

Actually yes. Everybody's so pissy about their opinions nowadays, I figured that it goes without saying that that was mine. I mean let's face it, I may hate Power Rangers, but that doesn't mean I have a sentai bias. I actually hardly watch any sentai. I just think Power Rangers is derivative, retardedly comical bullshit. On the other hand, I love shows like Seinfeld, and piles of American films, proving blatantly that I dont think everything that comes out of America is crap. I thought that was pretty obvious, but apparently I'm going to have to start drawing pictures with my posts. I don't understand what the big deal is--I dont like Power Rangers. This doesn't make me "Anti-American," that's just ridiculous. Not everybody has to like the same stuff you like. I know it's hard, but let's try to put our pussies away for a while and accept other people's opinions.

Learn to read. Never once did I say "I hateth the Powery Rangers because they art American," I said it sucks because of the way it's made. I might like it a lot better, especially with the fierce action, if everything else werent so goddamn stupid. The acting stinks like a rotting cadaver, the actors are all frat boys, the actresses all look like cheap prositutes (Hello, Syd!), and the villains are tamer than a California housecat. Please.
