OK OK , so each Senshi has 1 Robot Partner, and 1 Mecha W/ 2 Modes ( Animal, and Vehical ) HMM.... I smell a Time Robo Gattai-eque System.

The robo partner has three forms

Human form
Robo
Vehicle

They're just knocking out all the gimmicks/themes out next year LOL

Its like they made this series just for me lol they even went with "color buster" like I wanted them to. The only thing I don't like is Blue Buster's helmet at this point.

4 Modes for Chida Niku, 3 for everyboy else


Chida Niku transforms to cockpit for Red Buster, then the cockpit attaches to his BusterMachine, making it Buster Vehicle CB Cheetah. Buster Vehicle to Buster Animal CB Cheetah, and then Tokumei Henkei into GobusterAce.

Gorisaki Banana to Cockpit + Buster Machine= Buster Vehicle GT Gorilla, which becomes Buster Animal GT Gorilla

Usada Letas to Cockpit + Buster Machine= Buster Vehicle RH Rabbit, which becomes Buster Animal RH Rabbit


All 3 Tokumei Gattai into GobusterOh.


4th Buddy Droid was rumored to be a dolphin, continuing the animals/favorite foods theme.

Cheeta/Eats Meat= Chida Nikku

Gorilla/Eats Banana (Fruit)= Gorisaki Banana

Rabbit/Eats Lettuce (Vegetables)= Usada Letas


Count on the 4th one having Sakana in its name, representing fish/seafood.

As a disclaimer, I don't trust my first-glance opinion at all anymore; I thought Fourze was going to blow chunks upon seeing the first magazine scans and now I'm a huge fanboy, so that says a lot for my predictive abilities there.

That said, I really like the suit designs! They're very sleek and actually almost plausible as high-tech spy suits, if you ignore the bright colors and shiny surfaces. I totally dig the sunglasses-visors, too. I'm pretty sure it's a two-piece outfit from the way the jacket hangs over the slacks, but who knows. I hope the shininess doesn't stray into Gekiranger "behold my awesome silk pajamas" territory and remains more like Shinkenger's sleek understated look.

I can't really bring myself to have an opinion on the robots without seeing them in action because what we see in toy adverts and what we actually get in the show are often way different. I actually like the rabbit, mostly because its overall shape kind of reminds me of Tac the robot owl from Timeranger. The gorilla's face-shape is also pretty deja-vu, but I can't place it.

I really hope this is a three-man team show that I can actually enjoy, since all the recent ones have had some pretty major issues.

A bit neutral with these two. Don't make me want to get them but I don't hate them. Fit perfectly with the spy theme, though.

So far my only disappointment with Gobusters is their arsenal/roleplaying items. But not biggie considering we get kickass mecha instead.

Give it a bit more of time. With Suite PreCure this year Toei might want the music theme to rest at least a couple of years before trying again.

But it's a question of time, I'm sure about it.

I knew something was up when I clicked this thread and there were ten new pages.

Initial thoughts, these rangers look gloriously awesome. I've never been a big fan of suits that end halfway at the torso, but I think it works rather nicely with black spandex here. Maybe also because they don't look like suits at all, rather like guys in jackets. I guess the robots are the ones who are gonna have the suits that actually look like suits this time around.

It's interesting to see another red robot who has his own stand alone mecha mode before combining with the others.

I really like everything I'm seeing so far. I see shades of Metal Hero on the helmets, but not much else to be totally honest. Definitely looking forward to this!

Camera that changes into a gun. Based on an "ichigan" (single lens reflex camera). In Camera Mode, the toy can simulate zoom and shutter movement. Can combine with the SouganBlade to form the "Ichigan Buster Final Buster Mode"(name not fully legible, but I think this is it). Lights and sound.

Binoculars that change into a sword. Name taken from "Sougan" (Binoculars). In Sougan Mode, seems to have a working scope. Looks to contain sounds of the Buddy Roids. Can combine with the IchiganBuster to form the "Ichigan Buster Final Buster Mode"(name not fully legible, but I think this is it). Lights and sound.
