Chronicle 1: Awaken! The Inner Demon
Cue opening theme: Dragon, JAM Project
The long, and bloody Demon Wars have long been forgotten by humanity...and for good reason. Many chose to simply forget that these vile creatures ever existed..they wanted to keep them as beasts of legends and folklore. But hidden, underground in the sea of what is now Japan and the Asia Pacific, there was a sunken temple buried underneath thousands of tons of water, rock and rubble. For it is here where the demons made their resting place, it is here where the Gates of Tartarus lied and it is here where they remained sealed. Or so everyone thought...
For behind the doors and the water the demons still exist today. Feelings of greed, hatred, jealous, and envy these feelings were enough to once again open the doors to the Netherworld...and it is these very negative feelings that's causing the seal placed by the great Shaman so many years ago to weaken, very soon the vile beasts will once again reawaken.
Our story begins on the tiny island of Japan, in the city of Tokyo to be exact. Tokyo was the base of operations for foremost demon expert and histologist Dr.Kurata Fuudo. He held a secret, something only a few closest to him knew...he was the head of a secret order known as the Knights of Order, who's sole purpose was to make sure the demons remained unsealed. Kurata also has a daughter, a sickly weak girl named Maaya with a unique ability. He often obsessed himself in his research to try and make the life of his daughter better and in his haste to find a cure for her ailment he unwittingly activates an Unseal spell that began to weaken the barrier placed on the Gates.
The first sign of the demon's awakening was the fact that people all over the world had reports of being attacked by monsters that resembles shadows-Shadow Husks, the drones the Daejin forces use. And so in his haste to quickly end this situation, Dr.Fuudo assembled a team to counter the demons...but Dr.Fuudo learned the hard way that unless the proper procedures and precautions were made...his method of "Fighting fire with fire" would soon backfire.
Dr.Fuudo was standing in the ruins of an old laboratory, it was here where all the chaos began. He walked through the wreckage playing the old security taps over and over again, the footage was of Eric Seele slaughtering slaughtering the helpless scientists. Kurata closes his eyes turning the computer off "if I had only known...I'm sorry" He mutters it was time to leave, for today was a special occasion...today was his daughter's birthday. Though not related by blood the two were very close, his only regret is that he couldn't spend more time with her...such as it was. A smile creeps on Dr.Fuudo's face, he turns to leave the ruins of the laboratory once outside, a helicopter was waiting to take him back to the museum..today he was going to try and be a father.

The feeling of the wind passing by as Akechi Nakajima zipped down the highways on his bike, it was probably the best thing in the world for him. At the end of the road was his friend that he knew ever since childhood, Alice Hanoko with a stop watch in her hand. When Alice saw Akechi zoom by she presses the stop watch, it stopped at 5:30:68. "Five minutes and thirty seconds! That's your best time yet Akechi!" The red Honda-made motorcycle comes to a halt by Alice and Akechi gives her a thumbs up, smiling behind the helmet.
"Okay...what do you want?" Akechi asks reaching for his water bottle to take a sip. Akechi knew Alice for a long, long time. He knew that whenever Alice was THIS nice to him, it probably meant that she wanted something in return...and considering that a certian event was coming up run by a certian someone she admired, he knew exactly what it was.
"Umm...weeeeeelll" She says she reaches into a purse and pulls out a flyer. Akechi takes the flyer and studies it "Dr.Fuudo's Demon musume...? C'mon Hanoko, you know I don't beleive in this crap!" He says. Being raised by a police officer, Akechi always was raised only believing the facts and nothing else. He was the kind of person who didn't believe in any kind of superstition or urban legends...and demons was pretty high on his list. "Pleaaaaaaaaaase?!" She asks placing her hands together "I've been making lunch for you every day for the last month! I cleaned your apartment room and did your laundry too! I even washed your bike for you once or twice! I do everything for you, the least you can do is do something I want every now and then!" "Wait! That was you?! You were the one who kept swiping my laundry?" He asks.
Akechi sighed deeply "Fine, fine, FINE! I'll go, I'll go...but on one condition...I want no more of this demon nonsense for a long, long LONG time got it?!" Akechi asks "Yay!" Alice shouts happily, she giggles and wraps her arms around Akechi's neck nearly strangling him "Thanks Onii-chan!!!" She cries
When Alice releases her grip, Akechi coughs "Y-your welcome" He says and places his helmet back on tossing Alice a spare "Get on, I'll drive you there" He says. Alice nods and climbs in behind Akeich, wrapping her arms around his waist. With a rev of the engine, the red and white bike took off down the street.
