Kit looked towards Maaya he seem alittle nervous and uneasy, he just felt weird almost out of character. He took a couple of steps towards Maaya and Kimiko, then took steps back, then forward and then back agian. He noticed that it caught Maaya's attention so he turned around and pretend that he didn't do anything. It wasn't like him to lose his coolness as he would call it, perhaps something was interfering with his acting. He turned slowly towards Maaya who was waiting for him to turn this time. She greeted him with a smile where Kit just turned red, and quickly turned agian. what's the matter with me... urgh.. I hate being indirect..

"Here, Happy birthday" Kit said as he placed his present on maaya's lap and then took a couple of steps back acting alittle weird " ahahaha... oh wait where is the doctor I better go look for him ha. hehhh..." Kit said as he kind of dissapeared along the corner. Maaya took the present and shook the small box, wrapped in red glittery paper with a silver ribbon. Her shakes were gentle and not violent but one could tell what the present was without opening it as it play a small little chime, hinting it was a musical box of somekind. " I'll open it later with all the other presents" Maaya said as she looked up and then from side to side " where did Kit go?"

Kimiko sighed inwardly not wanting to create more sadness on what meant to be a joyous occasion day for her. Trying to keep herself in the best of spirits for Maaya’s sake could not shake off the feeling being enraged at Dr. Fuudo’s action just now. If anyone needed to be here most importantly celebrating Maaya’s birthday it was him. “Hai…He had mentioned needing to do a quick check on something…†Kimiko replied, “He did promise that it will only be for a few seconds.†Though she could not help wonder exactly if those few so-called seconds would end up being more than just that. Which for Maaya’s sake hope it better not.

Kimiko’s enragement of Dr. Fuudo’s absence dissipated as Kit approached them rather acting a bit awkwardly. Following as he disappeared around the corner shook her head wondering what the heck was that all about and caused him to blush like a red tomato. Looking back down she rested both hands on Maaya’s shoulder, “Hmmm…I think he went to retrieve your father for you.â€

There was one thing that Kimiko did not understand when it came to birthday. It was coming to blowing out candles on a cake to make a wish.

Dusting herself off as she stood up, Virus wordlessly looked on at the young man that bumped into her breasts, observing him and his female partner make a mad dash away from the area. She then looked down at her breasts, placing a hand on one of them. She knew very well that some of the swordsmen she vanquished were particularly interested in her bust. Of course, it's not like she cared whether or not people liked her breasts -- all she was interested in was vanquishing strong sword-users -- but like any female, she was a bit ticked off at the young man touching them. At the same time, however, she felt a strange aura from the young man the moment his face touched her chest. Something's up with that pervert....something...that makes my heart beat with excitement. I can feel it.... Virus told herself inwardly, looking back at the direction Akechi ran toward. After a while, however, she decided that nothing was going to happen by just standing there, and quickly started to walk further into the museum, following the aura emitted by Nyx.

At her school, Heather was in class, drumming her fingers on the desk as she listened to her teacher's lecture. She wasn't exactly bored, it just felt tedious to her. When do we get to the famous conquerors in history? That's more relevant to my interests... At the moment, her teacher was going over a particular peaceful portion of Japanese History. Heather was hoping it would be over the Sengoku period, or the Meiji Restoration, but it was...this stuff instead. Oh well...the student council meeting will happen soon enough...

"Sorry we're late guys! Traffic was murder!" Akechi shouts with an out of breath Alice closely behind him. "Y-yeah...sorry" She says Akechi smiles "Alice-san, happy birthday!" He says putting the box in her hand. Maaaya lifts the box and sniffs it "Is it truffles, Akechi-san?" Maaya asks. "Gah! H-how did you know?!" Akechi says. Maaya giggles "You get me truffles every year!" She says placing the box down.


When Kurata saw everyone gathered he smiled "Everyone, thank you for coming" He says scanning the room "Akechi...Kimiko...Kit-san, can you come here please? I have something of great importance to give to you." He says. Akechi looks towards Kurata and approches him "What's up doc?" He asks Kurata pushes the box foreward and opens it, inside were the three talismans "Take these talismans...consider them...a thank you for looking out for Maaya for so long" He says

Kit was back in his cold stoic mood, after his random display of affections towards Maaya which he doesn't' really understand why he asks that way when she's around. But all of that stuff slipped his mind as he saw Dr. Fuudo appear in front of him along with Akechi and Alice. Akechi arrived late giving Maaya chocolate, which in his honest opinion was a terrible gift. As soon as the thought arrived in his mind he knew that the answer to his question was simple. Akechi must of forgot and once again made a last minute dash of a gift buying. Knowing the person he was with too Alice, things probably weren't any better, and little or few thoughts could be put into a gift with in a span of half an hour.

Kit shrug at them and Maaya whom seem to be enjoying Akechi's antics every year according to her sentence. Kit took a quick glance at Akechi and the thought of Akechi forgetting every year didn't seem to far from reality. Kit's attention was then diverted to the Doctor who just handed him some sorta talisman, it was interesting at the very least not something you receive everyday. Kit felt somewhat like a hero and even glorified when the doctor thanked him and the others for taking care of Maaya. Not that she even needs that much care she's the same age as Kit, she know what's she's doing most of the time, Kit didn't do much and he hasnt been around that long either. But he will admit that Maaya's company on rainy days were fun. He took out his flashlight, and shine it at the talisman to see it more cleary,, not being able to figure out what the talisman ment. Like his usual fashion he always had something annoying and out of line to say " Hey old man... thanks for the rock? what is this?" he asked and annoying tried to flash some of the flashlight into people's eyes.

Kimiko merely shook her head lightly chuckling as the two nearly tardy guests arrived to join in on the celebration. And yet, it was not that the fact two had assumed they were later, rather it was Akechi’s ideal of a birthday present for Maaya. Even if it was a thoughtful gift nevertheless, the young woman could not help wonder when he might get something different. “Let us not forget that the smell of chocolate can be detected from the box…even if it’s wrapped.†Kimiko added tapping the box lightly with one finger.

Looking down at Maaya for a moment squeezed the girl’s shoulder before walking over towards the three. Her light lavender eyes fell short on the box within the Dr. Fuudo’s hands and then directly at the man himself clutching tightly onto her arm. Though her thoughts of the box contents were interrupted with Kit’s arrogance and attempt to start trouble. Walking up from behind slap Kit in the back of the head. “Must you really try to be such a pest, Kit?†Kimiko spoke sternly, “These are not simply common rocks you find lying about. If I were you…and so glad that I’m not would listen to what he has to say.†moving to pick the last remaining talisman.

Closing her fingers around the talisman exchange glances at the others until settling on Akechi.

Kit rubbed the back of his head, from Kimiko's disciplinary love & hate smack in the back of his head. One thing Kit has seem to recognize is Kimiko's strenght, her little pats feels like being hit by a bat, when she really punch you it's basically being hit by a truck. At least that's how he's see it, she certainly isn't light in laying her hand on him, but for Kit is used to it, to kit Kimiko is just annoying, a thorn in his fun. There are more psychotic woman he has to deal with in his life on a everyday basis. Kit was going to say something and cause his usual ruckus, but Maaya gave him a look of disapproval, her pout added with her inflated cheek. The look gave him a small chuckle " Ok Ok ... I'll stop" Kit said hanging on to his stone, carelessly. He put his flash light away and just sat down in a chair next to Kimiko and Maaya. " Well fine I'll listen to the old man, but in my honest opinion it's still a rock" Kit said as his mind is now in his careless mode.

Kit yawned "some party" he said in a most annoying and rude way, as Maaya tapped him in the head right over the same place Kimiko just hit him. "Behave or I wont go out with you this weekend" Maaya said now much more annoyed then before. "Aww come on but you said..." Kit then snapped to attention and gave a Salute "yes Miss!" He now give his complete attention to the Doctor.

Nyx was sitting high atop of a building that overlooked the city. A grin crept up on her face Humans have sure come a long way since we last walked the earth She thinks she stands up and stretches "Hmmmm, I'd love to find new ways of torturing humans...but I have job to do" She mutters. She could sense demonic energies all over the city, all concentrated at one location. If she could find The Key, she could use it to open the gate. The Demonic Gem given to her by Ragnarok would make it easier for her to create a distraction...but first she needed to find a "Host", someone who held darkness in their hearts...and it seemed she had found her target. She grins wickedly, seeing a man in a business suit downing his sorrows away with. "Lousy good for nothing wife! leave me out in the dust will she?!" He says taking another swing of his beer.

"Yee of many sorrows, do you wish to take vengeance on the ones who had wronged you?" Nyx says "Wha!? W-who's there?!" He says looking around the alleyway. Nyx giggles 'Then let me give it you...the power of the Underworld!" She says moving the gem towards him "S-stay away! Get back! Get back!"

The gem suddenly begins glowing, and the man lets out a scream, the scream then turns into a feral roar as the man changes into something that resmebles an Oni from Japanese folklore he pounds his chest like an ape. "The power...the power!" He says. Nyx giggles "Alright you big lug, listen here: I'm trying to free our boss, to do that...I need an object known as a Key. This "key" is located close by, I'm sure you can feel it" Nyx says "Yes...I feel the key's location closeby!" He says. Nyx nods "Then go find the key!" She says. The ogre lets out a roar and charges out towards the street.

Akechi was looking over the amulet, trying to make sense of the strange markings. "Yeah doc, what are these?" He asks. Dr.Fuudo looked towards him "They are good luck charms with proection spells engraved on them to keep evil spirits away." He says. "Eeeeeeeh!?" She says looking towards him "Why would you give something like that to him!? He doesn't even believe in aliens!" She says crossing her arms in a pout. Dr.Fuudo glaires at Alice, and Alice calms down.

The charm in Akechi's hand would suddenly begin to glow and shine. The shine quickly disappears and Akechi blinks suddenly feeling dizzy "Whoa...what was that?" He says

Virus, who had been searching for Nyx in the museum, walked about as she decided she would instead search for a relic that would free her master from imprisonment. Though she maintained a frown, she pretty much blended in with the normal visitors looking about at the various exhibits. It's not here. I will come here after dark to check the "restricted" areas... Virus decided to herself, jamming her hands in her vest pockets as she started to head out of the Museum. It was at that very moment that she felt something resonate in her chest, prompting her to pull out one hand and touch her chest lightly. Not long after that, her sensitive ears picked up a rather feral howl. Of course, she knew what such a howl meant: Nyx had managed to transform a human filled with despair into a beast. Hmph...So you're not useless after all. Still....I'm going to find you... Virus smirked, bounding down the steps of the museum to resume her search for the succubus.
