The social world seems to function based on tension: War, time of economic growth, peace, economic hardship, war, etc.

Peace is merely a time of cold war IMO.

Well, President Obama himself said that North Korea is really threatening to World Peace.

North Korea is being an idiot right now for attacking its neighboring country. For them saying that having joint with U.S. may starting a war. Judging from a comment alone by them, they're an idiots.

Well, yes obviously I do not condone the actions of North Korea, I'm just saying even what we call "peace" is nothing more than restrained violence. Humans have not evolved to be peaceful. We have evolved to survive, and sometimes playing nice isn't the most efficient way to remain alive.

There's always a war on somewhere in the world. North and South Korea never came to a peace agreement either, so they've officially been at war with each other since the late 1940s. We haven't had World Peace since before World War One.

The next time North Korea attacks the South, it could be a nuke. If that happens, instant declaration of War from South Korea's allies - basically, all of NATO would declare war on North Korea. Face it, we're on a knife edge. You could wake up tomorrow to hear that Seoul has been destroyed. I'm seriously worried.
