Isn't there also an episode where they make Captain Planet with only three rings? I think he only had Heart/Earth/Fire and it was honestly more interesting than his usual nonsense.

This would kind of contradict the world ending because Wheeler didn't show up, wouldn't it...

Basically they really only need Earth and Heart to form Captain Planet but then he does have any powers he is just a green dude with a grass mullet. I think something blocked Fire and Wind from getting to him since they were all captured so he ended up taking the Geo-Cruiser (the funky yellow plane-thingie) to rescue them. Awesome.
