Unfortunately, It will most likely NOT move the story along...at all.

I really do like Shinkenger, but there really is just too much stuff. It's a real shame, then we get these filler stories that cover for them. Which the stories have potential for being good (Mako's recent episode was good), too many of them don't help grow the character(s) at all.

All this stuff, mecha alone, has been absolutely killer.

(I dunno if anyone here would be offended by Goseiger rumors so I'll hide them just in case)

Shinkenger doesn't even do that! At least, if the episode were about some new super powerful Ayakshi appearing and their entire arsenal proving useless, there'd be some drama, but usually that doesn't even happen.

The episode probably will be about some random problem of one of the Shinkenger, then he'll overcome it and pop up in the final battle with that thing, when the Shinkenger don't even need it anymore.
