I hope he's funny when out of battle, but super serious in battle.
We can't expect everyhting in the series to be "zOMG! Seriuz!".
Toei did need to tone dow the comedy a bit though after Go-onger (I swear, am I the only person on this planet who enjoyed that series?).

Shinken Gold looks fantastic in action. I'm so happy that I'm back in Sentai this year, better than horrible comedic called Go-Onger. I'm so excited to see the next Ranger soon.

Shinkenger is the true Sentai series.

There is no "definitive sentai" You may have hated Go-Onger but some liked it. Right now your just clinging to something that isn't Go-onger

I don't think we have the right to say what is "true sentai" and what isn't.

I've been watching sentai series since Dekaranger(tvnihons first full series sub) I don't consider anything from Deka to Shinken to be true sentai.

I've only seen a handful of series. I don't have the right to say "Oh yeah I know what sentai is

Wow...

Though I fail to see why the wedding at the end of Magiranger should be a WTF moment. Unless it's the floating plant, or the cat performing the ceremony. But they were there for pretty much the whole series.
