the intention of this thread was to stamp that Saburo Hatte bullshit OUT because anyone who knows Sentai knows that it was our boy Shotaro and not some made up group of **** nuts who decided to stamp their names on an existing franchise.
The thread was out of topic after a naive kid start to mention that Ishinomori is the the god of tokusatsu.
Hirayama Tohru did more work for tokusatsu series and movies at Toei but you probably never know him since you haven't really know most things related to tokusatsu history(maybe someone need to write a book about Hirayama Tohru biography in English and I hoped that person is August Ragone).
As far as I concerned, Hirayama Tohru is humble man who never get more credit(from Toei, of course) for all the great work that he had done at Toei.
Without him, most likely Kamen Rider, Kikaida, Sentai and other tokusatsu series by Toei will never be created. Ishinomori probably just another comic artist in Japan who will probably spend his entire life just drawing comics for magazine since Hirayama can find other comic artist instead of Ishinomori to create the hero.
At one time, there are some clowns at Toei want to kill off Kamen Rider character, it was Hirayama who want shrug off their suggestion to kill Kamen Rider. Imagine if Kamen Rider was killed in the series, probably there will never be other sequels too(I once saw a comic that showed Kamen Rider being blown up into pieces).
Hirayama also rejected Skull Man design from Ishinomori for Kamen Rider. If the design was used, Kamen Rider won't be a popular series since the design is not suitable as a hero for children programme(most likely it is because the economy in Japan just recovered after World War 2, so most Japanese doesn't like anything that remind them of the war since their life just improved).
During the Showa era, most of the tokusatsu series and movies from Toei are the major contribution of Hirayama. Ishinomori just draw the character of the hero but the rest are the work of Hirayama and the group that he led(the one with the weird name SH).
I prefer Hirayama Tohru name in the opening credit instead of SH but most likely there are some clowns at Toei don't like him so much so they insisted the name SH.
Even Kamen Rider Spirits is based on original storyline from Hirayama for Kamen Rider ZX series. Instead, there is only one TV Special was made by Toei in 1984.
Even the Japanese called Hirayama as the "Father Of Kamen Rider" and he is now at Red Entertainment Deliver Corporation(it is Toei loss when he left them in 1990).
Ishinomori & Tsuburaya.... The best of the best.. of the best.
Tsuburaya Eiji is the creator of tokusatsu and it was Hirayama Tohru who continued his work in the development of tokusatsu after that. Ishinomori was just part of a team that was leaded by Hirayama.
More information about Hirayama and the creation of Kamen Rider, just read the following thread(I think most members forgot about the existence of this thread which is the best thread ever made, I just had to bring it back):

how do you know I'm not older than you?!
I don't want to know your age. But your statement clearly showed you are a naive kid who doesn't know most part of tokusatsu history. If you are not interested in tokusatsu history, then better stop replying this thread since you are just like the other naive kid from the small island in Asia.
If you interested to know more about Tsuburaya Eiji, better buy and read the book by August Ragone. Otherwise, stop typing nonsense statements here, kid(don't understand Japanese is not an excuse either).
Hey, the Japanese public dubbed Tsuburaya the "Tokusatsu no Kami-sama" LONG before us fanboys ever did.
There are some naive kids here will not interested in what you informed them here.
Most of them probably just typed:"I just watched tokusatsu series and movies and I don't even care about who created them."
Most likely these people are just supporter of bootleg tokusatsu series and movies.
Probably they won't even buy licensed DVDs of tokusatsu series and movies in their entire life. No point discuss tokusatsu history with them since they are naive about it.
Some like this guy, some like that guy, then leave it be.There is NO way you can get everyone to agree on the same God.
This clearly stated that you don't know the history of tokusatsu.
You are just another naive kid making statement.
I don't see why you really need to decide who is the GOD
No matter who is the real creator, kids and most fans don't give a **** to it.
Since the series and movies created by Japanese. It is up to the Japanese to decide who is the "God Of Tokusatsu". The Japanese decided the
title belong to Tsuburaya Eiji and not other Japanese. Even Emperor Hirohito gave Tsuburaya Eiji an award known as Japan's Order of the Sacred Treasures for his services to Japanese culture.
It is the same like most Americans regarded Abraham Lincoln as the greatest President of all-time or most Britons regarded Winston Churchill as the greatest Prime Minister in their country.
History is something that you cannot changed at all. So if most of the Japanese called Tsuburaya Eiji as "God Of Tokusatsu", you should just accept it, kid.
Here is one blog about Tsuburaya Eiji book by August Ragone:

If you don't want to read, better considered yourself as naive about tokusatsu history.
By the way, only naive kids like you doesn't want to know the history of tokusatsu. A true fan will know tokusatsu history instead of just watching tokusatsu series and movies(there are probably just 15% of them in are here compare with 95% of members at Generation Kikaida forum. The members at GK really know many things related to tokusatsu).
"Showa era Kamen Rider is also known as Hirayama Kamen Rider since he was the "Father of Kamen Rider". All the ideas of Kamen Rider are from Hirayama and Ishinomori just helping him to create the character."
