Judging by the press release of this announcement, it looks like it was BANDAI that is the main culprit in convincing both Toei and Saban to skip a Go-Busters adaptation and move forward with a Kyroyuger adaptation.

We all know how Bandai felt about Go-Busters considering their snide comments about the show being "too-dark" for the kiddies (when the show really wasn't), and those snide comments were supported by the low toy sales for the Go-Busters line.

So this isn't Saban breaking the contract agreement with Toei, this was BANDAI telling Toei and Saban that it would be a shitty investment to adapt Go-Busters before Kyroryuger.

Yah my thoughts exactly. If anything this whole thing is planned by toei and co. With all these Rangers in kyoruger, comes the toys and the sales. See, fans seem to forget that timing and the amount of toy sales a show can bring is everything and go-buster was a show just to stall time, bringing back a past sentai ranger is proof of that. Just just to keep the audience interested till the main show comes up. See toei had to think about power rangers too cause, pr has a big audience around the world, maybe bigger then sentai, either way, its exposure for toei and more money. So fans can discuss whatever show they should adapt, it all comes down to sales and profit

My only concern is, are the "Dino Charge" rangers going to do the "Kyoryu Change!" Samba dance for the morphing sequence of the American version, or not?

Probably not. It wouldn't work in the US

It's a shame as I would have liked to see what Saban would have done with Go-Busters.. but going from the anniversary into the very ranger heavy and toy selling kyoruger isn't a bad plan.

So... maybe bulk could be the PR cyan

You know this makes sense. Power Rangers has a strong connection to dinosaurs so if they want to keep on the momentum following the anniversary doing Kyoryuger makes sense.

Plus maybe after filming the Legendary War Jason David Franks liked it so much they were able to convince him to come back for another season, I can see him as the Silver Ranger.

Brilliant strategy and fits neatly into Saban's constant milking of the MMPR nostalgia brand. Probably does mean we'll have to put up with that remix of the theme a bit longer though...there's no way they'd skip it for a season like this.
