Saban going to skip GoBusters!!!!

There's plenty of good reasons to skip Go-Busters and go to Kyoryuger, the three main ones being that Power Rangers started with dinosaurs, kids like dinosaurs, and Kyoryuger has a larger toyline with 11 rangers and dinosaurs.

Goseiger did just as poorly, so that's not a valid excuse. Maybe Saban just couldn't think of anything to do with it?

Goseiger had a collecting gimmick while Go-Busters did not. TCG are popular with kids, so the card game did pretty well from what I've been told. Even though the show will likely suck, so I'm still looking forward to it. I guess ToQger will come out in 2017 now.

Judging by the press release of this announcement, it looks like it was BANDAI that is the main culprit in convincing both Toei and Saban to skip a Go-Busters adaptation and move forward with a Kyroyuger adaptation.

We all know how Bandai felt about Go-Busters considering their snide comments about the show being "too-dark" for the kiddies (when the show really wasn't), and those snide comments were supported by the low toy sales for the Go-Busters line.

So this isn't Saban breaking the contract agreement with Toei, this was BANDAI telling Toei and Saban that it would be a shitty investment to adapt Go-Busters before Kyroryuger.

Yes, BANDAI hates Go-Busters that much

Coincidentally, this announcement within hours before Kyroyuger's final episode hehe

I remember last November that guy named Danny Lopez on facebook rangers posted this:

"Soooo....Just wanted to let everyone know that Kyoryuger will be the next adaptation for Saban after Super Megaforce. In short: Saban is skipping Go-Busters. I was just informed by someone who works for Saban and casting is almost done (for all 10-11 rangers). #truestory Cheers!"

Everyone on the Rangerboard called BS on it and it looks he end up being right .

My only concern is, are the "Dino Charge" rangers going to do the "Kyoryu Change!" Samba dance for the morphing sequence of the American version, or not?

Daaaammmmnnn, that's big news!

Never had I heard of either Toei or Bandai hate a certain sentai show so much. Go-Busters must have truly been a disaster.

The press release for this announcement quoted Bandai's CEO, THE CEO OF BANDAI.

That is pretty much evidence enough that Bandai pushed for this

I guess Saban can skip seasons now if the show has poor toy sales in Japan. Let's see how ToQger turns out soon.

For those more familiar with Kyoryuger than myself: Is there anything in Kyoryuger that could be the prisms mentioned in the press release? Or could we be looking at the Corona Aurora jewels, again?
