Ryuki-Decade: Dork Age?

Ever since Double became huge with toku fans, and as Double has progressed, I've noticed more and more people looking down on all the seasons that aired between Agito and Double. What are your thoughts about this recently happening?

..........really? o.O

i suppose that means i should actually watch W and see why it is that people like it so much :P

mwahahahahahaha

......... i have a headache :/ ignore the craziness pls :3

I would blame it more on Toshiki Inoue and the writers he inspired overstaying their welcome moreso than W. All W really did was point out what fresh writers could've done with the Rider franchise while Inoue and Yonemura were lapping themselves.

Out of all the series between Agito-W, Blade was the only series that I found pretty good. The rest were either OK or terrible

Really? I think Agito was a pretty good series...though I've only seen it up to episode 13, so I don't know if it dips in quality or not.

Between (not including) Agito and W, the best would be Ryuki, Faiz and Blade. Hibiki was enjoyable, but it still thought it was 'Ongeki Hibiki' rather than a Rider show. Kabuto is the Ohranger of Heisei Rider (promises much but fails to deliver. Actually, Ohranger is more fun despite it all). Den-O gets more fanfare than it deserves. Kiva had a great premise but was mediocrely written. Decade is a complete disaster that gets too much accolade simply because a bunch of old costumes came back.

Gotta admit though, W is on the same level with Blade, Agito and Kuuga or at least is between those lines. Compared to everything else in the heisei line, W is definitely one of the better ones. I don't see how this is looking down on other series.

I see it as the Heisei Riders always being compared to their Showa counterparts. While Kuuga, Agito, & W have elements of the older shows, the others have their own identity. This is where it's direction changed so it can appeal to the newer fans, mostly to keep the franchise fresh. Since most of the older concepts like the cyborg & terrorist orginazations are considered outdated.

The Toshiki Inoue School of Drama worked for Toei. Until they decided to freshen up stuff by bringing in other fellows.

And it seems Inoue is becoming the Kalish of Kamen Rider.
